It took nearly three hours from the time my girlfriend and I sat down to when we were finally brought the last of our food and walked ourselves to the front to get our bill. Strangely, for the first two hours there were only two tables busy so there was really no reason for the terrible service. Our orders from the all-you-can-eat menu were repeatedly changed or completely ignored without asking. The waitress returned several times asking us if we were done without bringing any of the menu items we had asked her for the previous times she came by. She seemed bewildered when we wanted the menu back to add things to our order to replace items that weren't brought to us, then didn't bring any of them out before returning to ask us if we were done again.
The only thing I can think of as explanation is that the all you can eat service is purposefully slowed down so you get the chance to feel full between orders, therefore eating less... but this doesn't fully explain the half hour it took to bring out my single scoop of ice cream.
If someone reads this and thinks maybe I'm just an enormous guy that tried to pull a Homer Simpson, eating all of the food at the buffet, I'm an average guy
Read moreMy wife and I were loyal customers, but we will never return after our experience last Thursday night, August 25th. Our table was ignored the entire night. We were served 2 sushi rolls immediately, and then the waitresses disappeared. When they came out into the dining hall, they served every single table around us except for us. We had tried calling out to one of them multiple times, and they would make direct eye contact with us and walk away. Can you imagine calling to your waitress with a smile, only for them to ignore you and walk away? We sat there for over 2 hours, never got water, never got the rest of our food, and eventually we just got up, paid the bill and left. Ironically, when I stood in front of the debit machine, the same waitress who ignored us for over 2 hours ran up to me IMMEDIATELY when she saw I was paying.
Just to give some context, I have never left a review, even if I have a negative experience, it takes a lot to upset me. However, this kind of service should not be tolerated. And it’s a shame because we came to this restaurant weekly, and regularly brought our friends with us to spread the word. Not that the staff here would care, but we will never be returning. There are plenty of AYCE sushi restaurants in HRM, and we will be giving our business to a place that VALUES their customers....

Unfortunately this time the experience that not something i was expecting as I know over the time things get improve. This place needs lot of improvement when i compare this place with rest of the all you can eat place with in HRM, i can only give Wasabi House 2 star. I can go for specific details but rather i like to give overall review. When you spending $23.99 for all you can eat Dinner you have some minimum expectation like tasty food where is the taste is so so, shushi roles are bulky, avovado salad is full of latus, choice of food is poor, cold environment, server were straggling to sure you the food in time, not paying attention to your table to clean after some dishes finished. They still have the same paper form for placing order, no smart ordering through tablet which actually helps to see what you are ordering. Adapting with technology is important no matter what kind of business are we doing. It's high time for Wasabi House Sackville to improve their choices if food, tastes of food, convince for placing order through tablets, make some changes like decorations.
