Pasta & Fumo — Restaurant in Magog

We are not familiar with the area but we stopped here on our way to Sherbrooke to have a quick bite mid-morning, right after they had opened. We didn’t know what to expect as we hadn’t checked reviews.

We enjoyed our sandwiches, good balance between the protein filling and the veggies on a tasty focaccia, nice sauce. My only suggestion: the menu on the blackboard (on the wall) doesn’t provide details on what comes with the sandwiches. One of us was worried, it would come with pickles or spicy sauce but was too shy to ask.

Besides sandwiches, pizzas, arancini, etc. there are some frozen meals to bring home as well.

So good! Got the prosciutto cotto, pork cutlet, and a small mac and cheese to go for lunch. Also picked up some frozen lobster and crab ravioli, fresh meatballs, and local beers. Both sandwiches were amazing on the fresh salty rosemary focaccia but the pork was our favourite. Two nice meaty cutlets with a delicious slightly spicy tomato sauce. Really nice location, great food. I had a brisket taco and a mortadella sandwich. Both were EXCELLENT! A little pricy but the quality was good and service was really good. They have a lot of great selection of Italian sandwiches, meatballs, etc
