I am beyond frustrated with the disgusting drive-thru experience at Burger King, especially on Whopper Wednesday. Every single time I’ve gone during this promotion, the wait times are absolutely ridiculous. It’s as if they completely ignore the fact that people are coming in for a quick meal. You’d expect a fast-food chain to be, you know, fast — but that is NOT the case here.
I’ve wasted upwards of 30 minutes waiting in line just to get my food, and that’s on top of the already long drive-thru queue. It’s not just one time; this has happened over and over again. The entire system is clearly poorly managed, and it’s incredibly clear they haven’t done anything to address the insane delays during peak hours. There are no apologies, no compensation, nothing!
Why is it that a simple order of Whoppers on a Wednesday turns into a soul-crushing ordeal? I’ve been stuck behind cars that seem to be taking forever to order, and then when you finally reach the window, they either have your order wrong or they don’t even have it ready yet. Honestly, it’s like they’ve never heard of efficiency or customer service. They don’t care about your time.
On top of that, the staff has no urgency, and it seems like they just don’t care at all. I’ve been treated like I’m invisible while waiting, and I’ve never seen any effort to make things better. The employees don’t communicate with each other; there’s zero coordination. You’d think they’d know the demand is high on Whopper Wednesdays, but it seems like every week is a surprise. If they can’t handle the volume, then they should just stop advertising Whopper Wednesdays, or at least prepare properly.
I do NOT recommend coming here during this promotion unless you have a couple of hours to kill. It’s absolutely infuriating, and I’m seriously questioning if I’ll ever return. This isn’t even about the food anymore — it’s about the principle of running a business that values its customers’ time.
That said, let’s be real: I’m still coming every week. I’m a fatass who can’t resist the Whopper, even though it means dealing with this godforsaken drive-thru every Wednesday. So, you’ve got me hooked, even though you’re making me want to scream every time I pull into your parking lot.
If you want to experience long delays, poor customer service, and a total disregard for your time, go ahead and stop by. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs, especially on...
Read moreSubpar experience tonight. We tried Burger King after years of not having it. Thought it would be a good change up since we usually get late night McDonalds. Guess we should have gone to maccie's.
The cashier and probably shift manager, Cici, was demonstrating what not to do as a manager. Take incorrect orders, berate staff making the sandwiches, and mix up packing to-go bags for both drive thru and eat in.
We ordered the bacon and cheese whopper, at first glance, it looked nothing like the picture displayed on the menu. Understandably as the staff were rushed to make it after Cici's onslaught.
When we opened the wrapper to our whoppers, there was no bacon to be seen, and it looks like a completely regular whopper. I brought them back to Cici, and told her that I believe they were made incorrectly.
She brought them back to the staff and... you guessed it, told them off again. Then after they inspected it, it turned out there was bacon on it... two 3 inch long strips of the most paper thin bacon known to mankind. She made a point to slam the burger on the countertop for me to see the miniature impersonators of the bacon promised on the menu.
Upon eating the whoppers, they were good, tasted like a normal whopper, so next time, I'll get a normal whopper... from a different location.
The second picture attached is the new popcorn chicken. It's not good at all. It's like a processed mixture of pureed soy-chicken, formed into small balls,...
Read moreIt's a shame that Burger King spent so much money on the renovations, the money would have been better served replacing the manager. I would have placed her name in this review however her name tag said CGI. If only this were true. Anyways let me get back to what happened. I approach the counter to place my order but no one is there. I was fortunate enough that the person working the drive thru window called CGI and let her know that she had a customer waiting to place an order. She came to the front and took my order, she was short with me but I didn't hold that against her. The real drama began when an Uber eats order came through and the order wasn't ready. CGI began yelling at the very helpful drive thru window attendant. She began yelling saying ," what is this order mean". The drive thru attendant tried to defend herself by saying , " I can't do everything" . Long story short she kept going until she finally gave up, when the other employees began to tune her out.
I'm not trying to get CGI fired but I'm trying to make BK aware of the learning opportunity that exists at this location. No manager in any industry should talk to their employees that way. I'd also like to recognize the drive thru attendant for her patience during this entire ordeal. She was professional through and through . I couldn't see her name but this crew worked during the hours of 8:30 pm to atleast 9:30 pm on...
