Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Markham

I'd give you a 0 if I could, but I'm forced to  give you a 1 so that I can provide feedback.

I've been to this Popeyes location several  times, but today was different. When I  came to the counter to order my meal, the  lady taking my order looked puzzled when I asked  about the two can dine for $15 deal. Her tone of voice was cold and unpleasant. As I was ordering my food, another lady walked over but they had a full  conversation in the middle of me placing  my order, which I thought was rude and  totally uncalled for. When I asked the lady at the front if she could make  sure to let the lady who was making my sandwich  change her glove since it is unsanitary for her to be touching all types of surfaces and a tablet and then proceeding to make my sandwich. She complied and relay the message to the lady that was making my sandwich and she looked bothered by my request. I was supposed to receive two regular fries with my order and only received one, demonstrating the lack of focus all 3 ladies had when it comes to attention to detail. Absolutely awful. I had been coming to popeyes and getting the strips meals for almost twenty years. Last Tuesday I went in and saw a coupon on the counter for a 10 piece strips. It was raw there were hard chunks it smelt almost fishy. I threw the stuff out and immediately contacted head office. I left an email and my phone number and was not even responded to for a week. I just got off the phone with the manager at this woodbine location and they said they couldn't do ANYTHING FOR ME. I dug through my garbage in the garage and called back to explain I have the bag the two boxes my strips came in the sauces, Told her about the price and the coupon but they still wouldn't help me after head office not returning my emails.

I told her I would be writing reviews and that this is not my fault. I will never return again and this is the worst location I have ever been to. If your filing system is more important than your customers I will eat somewhere else.

I could not be more dissapointed with their service at this location and the lack of ability to rectify...

I waited in line for 15 minutes, and I am not kidding 15 whole minutes for one lady to take an order for a one person whilst the other girl just split her attention between the girl helping the customer and her phone. Then after the girl on the left finished serving then and only then can the other girl served the next customer. I don't understand why they need to hold up the line for so long because everything they needed to grab for all of the customers waiting were already prepared and waiting under a heatlamp. I have wasted many a break just waiting in line to the point where I have to leave and go back to work hungry. It's really not that hard to just keep your phone in your pocket until the cafe is empty which is like 90% of the time. Are they getting instructions on how to pick up the chicken via text? jesus christ man...
