I find that the portions here are more than adequate, in fact it’s quite generous. Having said that, I also find the prices a tad high (like $2 more). Unlike food courts in Western malls, I find Chinese food tends to be cheaper (e.g., $7 for a meal). When I’m paying $10-11 for a dish, I don’t know if food court quality is worth it. The noodles are pretty smooth and easy to slurp lols. The duck is pretty good, I would say better than the ones you find at the food court in First Markham Place. Unfortunately, it does not beat Congee Queen, as there’s not enough meat so you might be chewing more bone than anything. Overall, I think it’s an okay food court stall but I can’t justify paying that price...
Read moreThey only accept cash and did not provide a receipt when I asked. The food quality is awful, and the price is unreasonable. There are many similar restaurants with better quality and more reasonable prices than this one. Also, the lady at the counter is absolutely rude and has a bad attitude. I understand I am not eating in a full-service restaurant; it's just a small eatery in a food court, but having basic manners would not harm your business.
I will be reporting this to the CRA and the local health unit to file a complaint...
Read moreI have frequented this HK BBQ resto many times before. The food, portions and price have always been bang on terrific and delicious 🤤.
The roast pork & rice 🍚 is my fave, but the bbq pork is ultra satisfying along with the octopus 🐙. I have never tried the duck or the sausage, but I am fairly certain that they must be delicious because there is a good amount of returning customers every time that I am here 👍.
You can find them in the food court which is the heart of Metro Square for decades 😁.
Happy...
