Came in in-person to place take out orders. Very Terrible experience. Only one server working at front, she has to taking order for dine-in and serve the dishes, taking order for take-out and checking and packaging the foods. also doing the cashier and taking all in-coming phone calls. As can be expected she's really overwhelmed. Gave you a pen and a piece of paper to jolt down numbers at the front of the dishes listed on the menu. Long waiting time for her to be available to taking and input my orders, and pay for it. The process being interrupted a couple of times due to incoming phone calls and dishes ready to be served to the tables. And as expected she didn't have time to check with me about my orders and paid in cash, so they didn't provide any receipt, no way for me to double check my orders. At the end a dish I didn't meant to order was placed. no refund or exchange, so money wasted. If they have double checked with me about my orders or even provide a receipt, the mistake can be avoided easily. Hard to blame the server, since she's been busy around non stoply. But it's really a poor service. Will never want to come back and...
Read moreExcellent service. We went here on a friday night of a rainy day and these guys provided us a remarkable experience despite the bad weather, once that we could never ever forget. They were very attentive and caring no matter how busy the store was (inside and outside the patio). They were even okay with us party of 9 sitting for hours playing card big2 & drinking games until very late, ordered so much foods and drinks so many times thru out the whole night. Their spicy chicken joint and bbq quail are must try items, so crunchy and tasty and goes so well with the "so legendary affordable"Asahi draft beer 🍺 pitcher (no kidding other pub and bar would charge you this much for a single glass these days). Anyway we're grateful that we found this place indeed. Wish their business forever doing this well to keep up thru all this...
Read moreFood was pretty great overall, this is our go to spot for Northern Chinese. Nearly every item we’ve ordered so far has been great except for the bbq lamb leg, that was dry and has no flavour at all. But other than that literally every other dish is amazing. Service is okay they don’t speak english well so come with a mandarin speaking friend, portions are pretty big for a chinese restaurant, the prices are probably among the cheapest for northern chinese in the gta, and the beer price is great too, 8.99 for a draft beer pitcher. they add the 10%tip into your bill.
Some dishes i’d recommend are the Spicy chilli chicken, the crispy sweet and sour pork, lamb skewers, and the spicy bbq fish pot...
