Early 2021. It is an attachment facility of TCCC church華基會 connecting the public by running various social events and activities. Individual and entities may seek opportunities to help making good use of the facilities. Its operation is funds by church faithful and devoted member contributions. Early Mar 2022 right at all lockdown measures lifted. The Cultural Cafe and facilities are open to business. Award winning hot HK Style Milk Tea $3 is served again. But lunch just has minced pork with salted preserved cabbage steamed rice furnished. Other snack are of limited supply. Try next time when full menu is served when Spring to full life very soon. 🙏 Mid May 2022. Would like to try out their reknowned HK milk tea but only offerred during the weekdays the steamed minced pork rice. But bad luck strikes, only fried chicken wing on stemed rice is served. There's a large open space that can be set up with tables and chairs for dining or dining/dancing events. There's easily space for over a hundred guests.
There's also a large commercial kitchen, complete with gas stoves, flat top grill, commercial convection oven, multiple sinks, and also a commercial dishwasher.
The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prep and cook for events, including pots, pans, utensils, dinnerware, utensils, and more. All you need to bring is food. They could use more fridge space, however.
The rest of the facility has smaller rooms for events, and a gym in the center of the building that can be used for badminton, pickleball, volleyball, basketball, and much more.

Read moreI was introduced to Gibson Center by a friend of mine Who helped with an event with the pastor of Joy Beyond Vision Community. JBVC runs the cafe inside the Gibson Center, And their Hong Kong milk tea and pineapple bun with thick butter was delicious.
I had no idea this center even existed! We ran into a mutual friend who toured us around and I was very impressed that it provided recreational, educational, and health services to its surrounding community. There was even a thrift store in there!
