Disappointed. Taste worse than Costco bread. Very stupid sales tricks: You can not choose what you want; they sell prepackaged frozen stuff and tell you: “it’s all freshly baked this morning!”. Didn’t visit the bakery, but I did get my hands on a loaf of their shokupan at their partner location oomomo!
Slicing into the shokupan, you get that firm outer crust, but once you get inside, it’s just so soft! Soft and bouncy and it literally bounces back to original shape when you squeeze.
Now I cannot wait to actually go to the bakery and check out all the other good stuff that is alongside iki!
