I’m from Xi’an and my partner is from Vietnam. He is a pho lover by far but I’ve managed to get him to love Xi’an food just as much. We’ve been to Ziwulu twice and both times we’re extremely satisfied with the taste and portions of food, excellent service, and bright and spacious atmosphere. My husband is from Xi’an, and we were really excited to try Ziwu Road Zhang’s that just opened. However, we were a bit disappointed. The taste definitely doesn’t compare to what we have back home. We ordered red oil cold noodles, roujiamo, meatball soup, and rice noodles. I usually prefer strong flavors, but even I found it overly salty.
