Had a brutal experience. I called in to place an order for pickup, and no one answered so I thought "ok they must be busy". So I waited a little while and called back and someone answered and took my order. I was informed that it would take 30 minutes for the order to be ready so then I was convinced it was busy. I waited 30 minutes and then went to pick up my order and when I showed up there was 1 table full in the whole place and no employees to be found. I waited at the counter for about 5 minutes before I was greeted by a man (whom I believe is the owner/franchisee). I told him I was there to pick up my order that I had called in, so he started typing through the computer and kept asking me what I had ordered. After about 5 minutes of him searching he tells me that he doesn't have my order and that I must have called the wrong location. So I looked in my phone to find the number I had called and asked him what number I should be calling to order from this location (Boxgrove location) and he told me the phone number does not matter, that I must have called the wrong place. Even though I order pick up from the Boxgrove location at least twice a month and have the exact phone number saved in my phone that is listed on the website. So I asked if we could call the other location and see if they had my order because this is what he said had happened. He informed me this was my problem and that no one would have my order (so at this point I knew he was just trying to cover up his mistake). So I decided at this point this man was not worth my time and was definitely was not getting my money and I left. I went next store to the Pizza Nova to find about 10 people there waiting for food. So we got talking to these people and it turned they had all called in orders to Wild Wing Boxgrove and were all told that they must of called the wrong place because he did not have the order!!! They easily lost a couple hundred in business because of this and the fact that the man was so unpleasant I imagine multiple customers that will not be coming back. Wild Wing should do something about this franchisee as he is not only ruining this location but he having a negative effect on the brand as well. I have been visiting this location for some time and have always been served by a lady waitress who always seemed to have the place under control and always made sure everyone was having a good time. If the man that was working on Sunday August 21st is the new normal, I will not be back and this location will be closed in a...
Read moreApologies, Iâm sorry to say but this is my first google review ever and I had to write this because it was my worse take out experience ever in my life. Ordered 2 orders of wings and a burger, came with fries and salad. First off when I opened the box it didnât look very appetizing as it felt like no effort was put in it at all. Maybe because itâs a take out they felt that it probably doesnât matter that much, you know out of site out of mind. The wings were extremely small, hard and obviously overcooked. It was exactly 9 wings, from the size of them it was clearly under a lb, I dont remember if the menu says 1lb or 9 wings for one order so I cant really speak to that, but if itâs suppose to be 1 lbs, Jesus i dont even think this is half a pound. Fries were also extremely stale, I tried reheating it in my oven but it just turned out to be hot staled fries -_-. The burger was also warm to room temperature so I had to reheat it as well and it turned out ok, something like the salad or burger, if you cant get those right you might as well just give up. Anyway, I shouldâve went to no frills and bought some wings and baked it, made an extremely wrong decision tonight and I will never ever do this again, best of luck to the business. P.S thats why I only think these places are good...
Read moreIâm thoroughly disgusted. I go to restaurants expecting that although some things may be pre-made, that at least some things would be fresh. After biting into a wing that was like rubber, the server informed me that the majority of the food is frozen and not fresh. If I wanted frozen food, I would have just gone to the grocery store and defrosted it myself.
Secondly, the table was sticky to the touch. I asked the server to wipe it down. She accidentally sprayed me with the cleaner and the table itself was still sticky when she was done.
Thirdly, there was cutlery and plates already on the table when we got there. We had to wipe them down before we could use them because there was food remnants and dust on them.
Do not go to Wild Wings. Just, YUCK! I absolutely will not be back.
Edit: after reading some of the reviews and responses, I find it laughable that the owner claims that these wings are of a higher quality because theyâre Canadian. Canadian or not, once theyâre frozen to the point that the meat becomes tough like rubber, itâs no longer a quality product. I have never had this issue at...
