Mr. Sun — Restaurant in Markham

I stopped by Mr. Sun Tea with my friends to grab a bubble tea and quench my thirst. It was easy to spot the place, with many people already lining up or waiting for their drinks. The menu was extensive, but the recommended signs and suggested sugar levels made it easy to figure out what to get and how to customize it. Here’s what I tried: Mr. Sun Roasted Milk Tea: I got the large size, and it really hit the spot. The suggested sugar level provided the exact amount of sweetness I wanted. The tea tasted strong, even with 75% ice, and remained flavourful even after the ice had melted a bit. The service was efficient, with care taken to ensure that my drink was prepared exactly how I wanted it. The napkins and straws were conveniently available, as was the trash bin. I also noted the ample amount of seasonal items available for future visits. Overall, I had a great time at Mr. Sun Tea. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a decent drink and will definitely come back whenever I feel like having...

There are so many boba shops in pmall that I get so overwhelmed and end up just getting it from a brand that I know, BUT I am so glad I tried this place after it was recommended to me. The tapioca is hand-made and it's SO DELICIOUS!

I got the milk tea with mango tapioca (half sweet and no ice), and although I didn't really taste much mango, the tapioca was SO GOOD and chewy. I don't know if I can explain it well, but compared to some other tapioca places with the black tapioca, it's more of a softer chew. The milk tea was also very refreshing! Not too thick, not too watery, and still nice and cold without the ice. :)

I went around 11:30am and had wanted to try the rainbow tapioca milk tea, but they only had mango tapioca at the time. I hope I can try it next time. This might be my go-to boba shop in pmall from now on! Even if I have to pay a little more than...

When it comes to milk tea, this joint might be one of my faves. They have the worst hours due to being a unit inside PMall but damn their tea is tasty.

The blackberry milk tea is literally good with ANY topping and the tea itself has so much flavour that 0 sugar is literally perfect. It's my go-to drink from this place.

We've also tried the Mr. Sun green tea which is made with Heineken 0.0 (a non-alcoholic lager) and some konjac jelly as topping. While I enjoyed it, my gf was not the biggest fan haha. She actually thought it made her stomach feel funny lol. The Heineken + green tea combo works imo.

The staff (especially the owner) are super nice and I guess one of the benefits of being a PMall unit (for me) is that the line isn't crazy long like at The Alley.

Still hate the paper cups and paper straws though X.x
