Food was decent. It arrived surprisingly quick. Food quality and taste doesn't live up to the hype though.
I had the classic eggs Benedict with turkey bacon. The colour of the hollandaise looked off but it tasted ok. The tri coloured home fries were a nice elevated spin to the traditional home fries, visually and taste-wise. The sweetness of the potatoes was a great balance to an otherwise typically savoury dish. I really enjoyed those. The rest of the dish was pretty standard.
My mom got the veggie burger. This is where things got a little disappointing, and I'm sure people who appreciate food would understand. The menu stated that it was served on a brioche bun, which as you can see in the picture is most definitely not brioche. I asked one of the servers about it and her response was "it's an extra charge for brioche" which a) seems like an admission that the bun in fact was not brioche, and b) the menu clearly states that it is served on brioche, so I shouldn't be charged. The server tells who I assume is a manager who approaches us and claims that it is brioche and proceeds to explain that it's an egg bun (which I'm already aware otherwise I wouldn't have asked about it). I believe she ended her argument with something along the lines "that's how we make it." The bun is white, dry and flaky. It was basically a regular sesame burger bun, almost Kaiser-ish. My mom and I both love brioche and it was the main deciding factor for this burger so of course this really put us off. Sure, some might say, 'calm down, it's just a bun,' but if you love and appreciate food, you'd understand. There's also nothing worse than not getting what you expected especially if you're paying for it. Anyway, the rest of the dish was decent.
Also, they charge $1.99 for hot water....
Read moreA healthy light lunch at your desk will keep your clothes and desk clean. The packaging is sustainable. The meat was packaged separately from the greens and berries so that the heat from the chicken did not compromise any of the salad prior to receiving my food. What I like about this restaurant is they have a lot of buy one get one free options available so that if I eat lunch with someone else we can go halves on the bill. The produce is fresh and you can see that it is made every day. I really wanted to make sure that I gave a five-star review since they separated the heat from the cold in regards to the solid so that my delivery when received was crisp fresh cold and hot all at the same time exactly what you want out of a salad such as this. I will definitely be ordering for myself going forward as well as my family from Ramona's kitchen. It's also really nice to frequent and support local businesses in your area whether it's where you live or where you work. Thanks to everyone at this restaurant for providing a great service and when the food arrives from being delivered it is as delicious looking as if it were served in front of me at the restaurant. That is also something that should get a mention. This restaurant does not cut corners on a delivery order in regards to quantity quality and presentation. I included my Uber eats receipt as I sometimes do in my post review however please note that Uber eats ads on many other fees. Make notice that if you eat at the restaurant or come pick it up yourself it will be far cheaper than what you see on my Uber eats receipt. I did not rate the service or the atmosphere as I did order through a third party and have no knowledge of the service and atmosphere in this...

Went to Ramona’s Kitchen for brunch and it was a bit of a mission to find. We entered through the mall thinking it was inside, but ended up having to walk around the plaza to actually get in. Once we did, we were greeted and seated by a friendly young woman, which was a nice start. The interior seating (inside the plaza) was much quieter than expected, which we appreciated.
A young man brought out our coffee, and while many might love a full cup to the brim, especially when you need to add cream. I found it a bit impractical—you can’t really lift or sip without risking a spill. On top of that, their coffee cups are oddly shaped and heavy, which made it even more awkward to handle.
Now onto the food—honestly, it was delicious. Really well-prepared and flavorful. But the experience was frustrating in other ways. You can’t make any substitutions on the menu, which was disappointing, especially when you have dietary preferences or just want to tweak a dish slightly. They also don’t list or explain what extra sides are available, so there’s zero transparency on what you can add or switch. At one point, we almost left because we felt so restricted in how we could order—but we stayed to try it out.
Unfortunately, the service didn’t improve. No one checked in on us after the food came. I finished my coffee and waited, hoping someone would ask if I wanted a refill—but no one did. I had to get up and grab napkins myself from another table. Eventually, we just got the bill without anyone even asking how the meal was.
Bottom line: food was great, but service was terrible. And to me, no matter how good the food is, poor service ruins the whole experience. I won’t...
