At around 7:30 PM today, we had a disappointing customer service experience at this branch that I believe the manager should be made aware of.
We ordered two Venti Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccinos, but were informed that there was only one large straw available. I politely asked the young male staff member (possibly of Indian descent) if another large straw was available. He went to check and returned after a while, saying there were none left. We attempted to use small straws and even took a couple of extras, but quickly realized they weren’t suitable since the chocolate chips couldn’t pass through. When we returned to ask for an alternative, the same staff member told us to go to another coffee shop and ask for straws there. I pointed out that we didn’t purchase our drinks from that store, and it didn’t make sense to be told to seek help elsewhere for something that should have been addressed in-house. We also tried to return the unused extra straws by placing them back into the dispenser, but the staff member appeared irritated, scratched his head, and told us not to put them back. Surprised by his reaction, I apologized, took the straws, and disposed of them properly. It was only then that he remembered they had boba straws and finally provided one to us. I told him that he should be the one apologizing for suggesting we go to another shop. He responded by saying he would inform his manager. I replied that I would also be sharing this with the manager.
The overall interaction felt dismissive, unhelpful, and unprofessional. I strongly recommend that staff be properly trained in customer service before being assigned...
Read moreI got to this location at 8:10am this morning, ordered two iced caramel mocchiatos, a cheese danish and egg bites. I was told right when i got there that the oven would take 10 mins to heat up and I told the employee that was fine and I would wait. 8:30 came around and they make 4 peoples drinks before mine. around 8:35 came around and i asked where my coffees were. They had obviously forgotten about my order by then, by the time they made my coffees it wasn't an iced coffee AT ALL And i had to open my store at 8:45... I had to get a coworker to wait on my order. When my food was ready they handed us an OATMEAL. not at all what I ordered and still were giving people the excuse that the oven wasn't ready. When confronted about the wait, the apparent supervisor had said due to an online order was the recent for them forgetting my coffee and my food order... but that's not my problem . So you're telling me... i could be late for work when I ordered my items WAY IN ADVANCE. because of a mobile order!? The cashier/barista AND supervisor were extremely rude. I'm sorry but it's extremely unacceptable, and i'll never be ordering from this location ever again. If I hadn't paid for my items already i would've walked out. Read moreI recently had an interview experience at this Starbucks location with the manager, Tiffany, and unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. After receiving an initial email regarding a job opportunity, I promptly responded but did not hear back for over three weeks.
During that time, I made multiple attempts to follow up via email and by calling the store. Eventually, I did receive a response and was scheduled for a phone interview. However, the interview itself felt disorganized. The manager was repeatedly interrupted by conversations with other individuals and did not offer any apology or acknowledgment of the disruptions.
At the conclusion of the interview, I was told I would receive an update on next steps within seven days, regardless of the hiring decision. It has now been over two months, and I have yet to receive any communication. I followed up a few more times asking for a status update, but my messages have gone unanswered.
