Do you really care THAT LITTLE about your reputation and your customers????How can you serve this poor excuse of restaurant food and charge like you serving something decent?? My order was 130 dollars!! Whoever cooked my my teriyaki salmon with rice and vegetables on may 22 for a late evening order- LEARN HOW TO COOK or leave food industry all together because you CANT COOK. I just paid 30 bucks for a below hospital level meal 🤯 . 2 giant chunks of vegetables ABSOLUTELY TASTELESS,horrible, no salt no butter/oil, nothing, undercooked, rice texture and lack of flavour seems like comes from those rice pouches you buy at dollar store, cook the rice and leave it to dry for 10 hours and they serve it. Salmon? SO DRYYYY, tastes like OLD FISH, so gross, I couldnt eat it, threw the whole thing in the garbage. absolutely horrible. 30 bucks for THIS sht level meal? During a hospital visit i was served plain salmon and rice, it came with salt and butter, spices, and it tasted and looked x5 better than this "restaurant meal". Please google/YouTube cooking lessons. Ordered soup as well. Tim hortons serves better tasting soup. How are you calling this place a restaurant? Does the owner care about this place AT ALL? You are supposed to serve EDIBLE FOOD. Cakes are 3.5/5. They taste good but so dry. is there anything you can actually cook that's edible? What a joke Will never ever everrrr eat here I feel absolutely robbed paying for this excuse of a meal P.s. How pathetic are those FAKE 5 STAR REVIEWS? Look at all those similar/same wording! ALL SAME FAKE reviews and then you thank them for 5*? What an embarrassing behavior from the owner.Isn't it easier to serve DECENT FOOD? Hire a cook who knows HOW TO COOK. You don't value your customers at all Update: the next day after eating this absolute garbage, I got violent food poisoning, nausea vomiting and the whole package. Didn't eat any other food 8 hours prior to this garbage so it's def this place. I'm reporting this place, expect...
Read moreAverage food. Average service. Poor choice by the manager in the handling of a freezer burned dessert.
Our party of 3 recently ate here for dinner. I have dined here infrequently previously and find my experiences consistent across all visits.
The restaurant was not busy and we had a choice of tables. The first server was pleasant, but had some issues understanding my party’s questions and order. I was served broccoli and cheddar soup instead of clam chowder. Another member of my party and ask for ketchup and mayonnaise on her burger which did not get included in the order.
Due to a shift change, we were introduced to a new and pleasant server. My party decided to order dessert. The giant cookie was sold out. We ordered the fudge brownie cheesecake. The dessert had a freezer burned taste. My party brought this to the attention of our server who went to speak with her manager. At that point, some time had passed, and we just wanted to pay our bill and leave. The server came back with a fresh piece of cake. We were a little surprised given the amount of time that had passed and by the fact that we were not asked if we wanted another piece. The replacement piece was notably fresher, but still had a flavour that our party did not like. Only a couple of bites were eaten. The bill was presented, and the desert was indeed included.
I decided to pay without any further conversation. This is not the way I am accustomed to experiencing these types of situations.
Ultimately, the restaurant is fine, but I will not...
Read moreCame here for brunch to a nearly empty restaurant, maybe 5 parties max. I ordered the oreo crumble + chantilly cream French toast, and my friend ordered the plain French toast.
Food itself - great, and smelled heavenly coming out. I was just missing the oreo part of my meaI. The oreo crumbles were very sad, probably equivalent to one cookie, if that. Hardly got a taste. I would just have ordered the plain, since the three bucks seemed to do nothing more to the plate. I did see a heaping plate of caramelized bananas on French toast come out to another diner, so that would be my recommendation.
Chantilly cream was lovely, seemed to have a few speckles of oreo in there too - but so subtle I couldn't even tell. Also wish there was more of it, as I ran out on piece 3. Must say the fruit was very fresh - in particular, the bananas were amazing, so sweet they practically tasted like candy (but not in a sickly sweet sort of way).
Service here left much to be desired. My friend ordered a coffee she never got. We were checked upon a total of two times throughout 1.5 hours. Forgot the table syrup, for both of us. Mixed up our orders - no big deal, but just switched the plate etc. I suppose they were letting us take our time, but we sat around for maybe 15 minutes without our plates before we had to personally hail them for the bill.
And no one comes here for the environment, which is decidedly mediocre. I wanted to try this place since it's everywhere, but I think I'll pass...
