I come to this Tim Hortons a lot and consider myself a regular judging by how frequently I visit. I have been putting off writing this review for so many months on the off chance that their service and quality will improve. This is by far the worst Tim Hortons I have ever had the displeasure of visiting. I am forced to stop by here for coffee out of convenience but honestly, I would rather drive out of my way and go somewhere else. First of all, they do not seem well-trained on how to prepare espresso beverages like iced lattes and such. Upon observing, I quickly realized that they already have espresso shots pulled before they even get a drink order. This means that the espresso they are putting in your drink is five/ten minutes old and has just been sitting out there and losing flavour. Second, any time they make a mistake in a drink order, instead of doing the right thing and remaking the drink, they will argue with you (until you show them your receipt or proof of payment and explain what you ordered) and even then, they won't remake the drink. I once ordered a large and they gave me a medium, so I told them and they just added extra milk and ice, with no extra espresso or syrup added. It tasted horrible. During the colder months, it's really important to get fresh, hot coffee. Their coffee is ALWAYS cold and stale. I refuse to believe it is "20 minutes fresh". There is no consistency in how their coffee tastes, which is honestly concerning because it's really not that hard of a task to accomplish. I have also stopped ordering food from them given how many fruit flies and regular flies I've seen in their display cases, and because of how frequently they get orders wrong. You are literally better off ordering at McDonald's. Not only are their prices better but their coffee and espresso tastes so much better too. If I could give this place zero stars I could. Save your time and don't...
Read moreThis is a worst Tim Horton location. First of all whenever we go to their drive through the ladies who work there rush the customers to drive as soon as they handover the order. They don't give us time to even put the coffee cups and wallet in their place. Many times due to their rush coffee had spilled on us. Secondly, they always some issue with their order. Last time, in 2023 we ordered bagels with extra butter and double toasted. When I reaches home I noticed that they gave us bagels almost untoasted and with very little butter. I called them and manager said we can bring the bagels and they will replace with new bagels at no charge. When we went there with bagels they did make new bagels for us but asked us to pay again. When I said they did not do the bagels as we wanted previously and also told us on phone that they will replace the bagel at no extra charge they said we don't give free bagels like that. It was so insulting and rude that we left their old and new bagels at the counter and went to a different location. Since then we have never went to this location. Their head office also does nothing. They don't handle customer complaints. They just refer us back to the location and message the management of the location about the issue. But neither the owner does anything about the complaint nor the head office. It took us so many months back and forth with head office but so far no one heard our complaint seriously
This is after owner's response: As mentioned in the review posted above the guest care also does not do anything. Both the owner and guest care are passing the buck to each other. We spent more than 6 months with the gust care and the owner but guest care keep saying we have passed message to the owner and owner never responded to our calls or even cared about the message from the guest care. We finally gave up and stopped going to...
Read moreWorst restaurant experience I have ever had. Even their resolution resulted in me being scammed.
Ordered 70cup Cannister for a funeral gathering. They charged me and said I need $100 cash for deposit. I didn't have cash so requested to get a refund so I can just order couple take12. There is apparently only one person in this location capable of giving any refund and she only comes on random days 7AM - 2PM. They proceeded to try to fill 5 take12 carboard boxes as a replacement. I refused because there is no point to having that much coffee unless it's kept hot with a cannister. I ended up taking couple take12 and said I'll come back for difference on the day they said the manager will come (Weds after the long weekend). Came back, no manager. They told me to call, no answer.
I end up emailing head office and the manager finally contacts me. After arguing that I don't want to have tim card refund of $56 and being told they're a big coorporation that doesnt' just give refunds, they finally agreed to give cash after talking to this owner. The catch, I have to come between 7AM - 2PM, 30+min drive out as I only came there because of a funeral gathering. Here's the kicker: I finally get a chance to pick up refund when the manager is there: they give me $46 instead of $56. Yes, I'm dumb for just trusting the manager and rushing out to get to work on time when she already proved to be not trustworthy.
100% avoid if you can. I don't know if I can ever go to a Tim Hortons ever again because of these people.
EDIT: Added picture so you know I'm not just making this up. I did call the help center and email. It's all for show, other corporations at least will do something to makes things right....
