Wild Wing — Restaurant in Markham

Ordered their food off of UberEats so not actually able to comment on the atmosphere of the place as I never set foot in there 😔

The service I can only speak to from how they packed my order for me which seemed well packed. I'd appreciate if they could have had the receipt taped or stapled to the bag as it made it hard to know which order was mine but truly just a small thing that would not impact me ordering again.

These prices are from Uber so prices are likely inflated compared to if you order directly from them!

-[SINGLE WINGS - SOME BEACH w/GAR PAR FRIES] $22.99 🍗 this is probably a hot take but I always opt for boneless wings because I am lazy, and I don't want to eat around bones 🍗 some beach as a flavor is made up of caesar, dill, and medium 🍗 probably would opt for the above flavor but up the spice level if it existed, and I do wish the fries were more saucy

-[SINGLE WINGS - SWEET ESCAPE w/POUTINE] $24.74 🍗 sweet escape as a flavor is honey garlic, and garlic parmesan 🍗 similarly, I would get this flavor again but with some spice! 🍟 poutine had a decent amount of gravy, and cheese on it

I do wish the portions were larger but I get it, everything is increasing in price 😔 The dill sauce is probably my favorite one that they offer so perhaps that is what I will lean towards when...

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE - Came here for the blue jays game because none of the spots near us had any spots available - was surprised but happy we found a spot finally… a gentleman came and dropped off the menus without a single word said - no introduction of our waiter or a simple “hi guys” - no one came to take our order after 15 mins of waiting and we had to eventually put our hands up to grab attention from a server - ordered 2 hot and honey chicken sandwiches and 10 tenders - photos below should explain how inedible the food was and looks…. asked for the bill and wanted to let the employee know that the food wasn’t the best but all he said was “that’s how chicken is” to which i had to take the chicken tender and start pulling, tryinf to cut it or bite it off and it LITERALLY wouldn’t come apart from eachother and he STILL said “that’s how chicken is” - did not take any criticism or responsibility- asked for the manager and a MAXIMUM 23 year old in a t shirt and sweatpants said he was the manager…. HORRIBLE service and food. Wasted $90 and went home hungry. DO NOT go...

I’ve been here twice with my boyfriend. The second time we ate here, there was a huge fruit fly infestation (or so i believe they’re fruit flies). There was a fly zapper behind the bar and you could constantly hear the flies getting electrocuted. Once the food came out, there were so many flies, some flew into our food and my boyfriend and i spent more time swatting flies than we did eating. We ended up taking our food to go because we couldn’t finish eating there - the flies were everywhere. I’ve never experienced anything like this at a restaurant before. It’s unfortunate because the food was actually really good. I’ve been at this location twice and both times the food was good. Service here is ok, there’s 2 young guys that have served us both times we went. They seem nice but not the most attentive because i had to wave them down to order and they didn’t really check in on us much.

The flies really turned me off and i will not be returning to this location. Hopefully they...
