We all know the feeling. It's a Friday night after a long week. You're out with some buddies, looking to relax, but you've got an itch that you need to scratch; the wing itch. In comes Wow Wing House.
Wow Wing House is a franchise that sells pizza, wraps, sandwiches, quesadillas, and you guessed it, wings. But let's get real. Don't be a chump. You're here for wings and not the other distractions. The New Delhi Drive location has a small interior, with some seating if you'd actually like to sit down for your meal with a small number of people. The thought though is obviously for you to pick up your order, or get takeout.
When it comes to ordering your wings, things get a little overwhelming. Wow Wing House claims that they have over 123 different flavours. (Why over 123 and not 120? God knows...) So if you're one to love having plenty of choice, you'll have a field day ordering. Excuse me for forgetting the atypical flavours that I ordered, but I can say that they were quite satisfying, well cooked, and appropriately spiced according to their rating. These wings don't necessarily entice thoughts of the best wings you've had, but they get the job done well. Along with the wings I had fresh green chilli & onion fries. I ordered these purely out of a gut feeling, because who can resist fries topped with chilli, roasted garlic, red onion, and three ooey gooey cheeses. And of course I was right. They were pretty good. On the other hand, the meal lost points since after finishing the fries, my body promptly and confidently let me know that it did not approve of my dietary decisions.
After having Wow Wing House twice, I'll settle on that I'm happy with what they offer, but for myself, I'll be going sparingly. I have a feeling other people would enjoy what they offer...
Read moreI went with my partner today and we came across a special that was posted on their window called the "Mini Markham special". This includes half a pound of wings, a can of pop and a side of chili onion fries for $7.95. Their original special, the "Markham special" is very similar with only an additional half pound of wings more for almost double the price at $15. With that being said, it's definitely a lot better to get the Mini Markham Special if you can, as the difference between the two meals isn't much.
We decided to get the Cajun flavor for the original and the Devil's Ranch for the mini. The cajun was seasoned perfectly and the Devil's Ranch definitely has a kick of spice to it. The chili onion fries tasted great, but it was quite heavy. Definitely not the best I've had, but still pretty good to fulfill my empty stomach.
If you are in a time crunch, don't mind the limited flavors and need somewhere cheap to eat between the hours of 11AM-2PM, I would definitely recommend coming here for their Mini Markham special as it only took 10...
Read moreI just purchased Chilli Onion fries and absolutely disgraceful and unable to eat. The fries are dark brown and looks old. Seems like it was fried earlier and sitting around while the next customer unfortunately me ordered and got it. When I am explaining to the useless girl who took the order that I have never received the fries in the past like this.. this girl is asking me what time did I order and when did you picked it up. This irritated me even more when I called and picked up within her 10 minutes ready window. I got home within 5 mins and ready to eat after 15 mins. I'm very disappointed. I would never recommend this place and that girl has no skills to be working in a customer service field. No validation and just hung up with an attitude. Poor customer service and terrible food....
