Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Meaford

The product was fine, standard Timmies.

The service though, was unbelievably slow. I went in to use the washroom and ordered inside. I should have used a bush and gone through the drive through. I think I watched four or more drive through orders get processed before even the group of elderly ladies standing in front of me in line had their order taken.

I witnessed a quarrel between staff. One worker seemed reluctant to take orders when they saw people waiting and backed off into the oven area behind the registers while calling out for a worker that seemed to be busy filling drink orders. The obviously busy worker responded about how the first worker was capable of taking an order. They didn't, ignored me and left for the oven area. The busy worker did commendably finish their work and take the order but I feel like if both those workers are getting paid even remotely similar wage the more capable one is being taken advantage of.

I don't know if they are understaffed or under managed but it seems like there is a failure in both areas.

Also parking is horrible. Single entrance, parking spots block path to drive-thru so if you park near the drive-thru you have to wait for a break in drive-thru traffic to leave.

As a side note, and not related to the business at all but on my visit there seemed to be a group of possibly intoxicated group of disheveled people being quite loud in the dining area. With my extended wait to order this did not...

12:15PM tuesday october 22nd 2024 I visited this location for a coffee and breakfast sandwich,

I got no sugar in my coffee, so as i waited for my sandwich i mentioned it to the staff.. that it lacked the taste of the drink i ordered. I was kind, as its a simple mistake.

Well i supposed they didnt like that and 3 of the window workers told me to fix it myself. One short lady with glasses, blonde hair was quick to YELL "IT IS A 4X4! IT SAYS IT ON THE TOP"

Which was not what i said. I said it didnt taste right. What did i get in return? A dozen half opened Sugar packets. And a stick to make my own damn coffee?!?! The audacity of these employees!!!

When i got home i checked, and my coffee had NOT been stirred.

I dont see the point in coming to a tim hortons if i have to make my coffee myself. What are your employees being paid for?

Why am i paying $2.61 for coffee i have make myself, even after waiting 20 minutes in the drive through?

this terrible service and the constantly rising price of a coffee (which is now 2.61) we need to keep constantly repeating ourselves to get workers to understand english(which is legally required to be fluent in order to work in canada) having to repeat my order multitudes of times before ANYONE understands. Ontop of this disgraceful excuse for service, i would recommend skipping...

After waiting in store 10 minutes in line, only 1 person in front of me! Cashier having full on conversation with co workers not acknowledging the line up. I left and went threw drive threw. Ordered a turkey bacon club toasted on white with no tomato and add cheddar cheese and mayo. Waited another 10 minutes in drive threw. Received my order, pulled out of parking lot to race to work to realize my turkey bacon club did not have bacon on it! Took my sandwich back into store and asked to have bacon put on it. Was then given a sandwich not toasted! With no cheese or mayo and tomato on it! All I wanted was bacon added to the sandwich I already had! Not a fresh sandwich on which was not what I ordered! I was then told I was being rude by the girl working! After now spending 30 minutes trying to get a sandwich for lunch before I started work, I ended up leaving with no sandwich and late for work! Not impressed! Your telling me u are going to be paying your employees $15 a hour and they can't even make a sandwich!? And I am the one who is rude!? I'm sure if u waited 30 minutes for a sandwich , than leaving with nothing you would be ticked too! Poor...
