If I could give more stars, I absolutely would! The service was far above the norm as they checked on you often without being intrusive. The food was exceptionally good, fresh and hot, and authentic, and the atmosphere was really nice, too. So you find your table and immediately are brought these incredible, fresh, and warm chips and several authentic dipping sauces. Caution! If you are spicy enough, like me, then dip a tiny corner of one of the chips in first before trying them because they are spicy and even more Caution for the one in the middle with the lid. That one should come with a little fire truck. 😊 But if you are someone who enjoys spicy dips and food, then you will be in Heaven. Just like my Mom. ☺️ I had the chicken Fajita, which were so good and generous, and my Mom had the fish tacos, which she said were to die for. The fish was crispy, and the little soft tacos were warm and yummy. (Sorry, my phone died. So, no photos) Again, the server came around and asked if I wanted more chips. Of course, I didn't know you could have MORE of those delicious chips, and if I wanted more tortillas too. We will definitely be returning and trying something else on the menu! Thank you for a Wonderful first impression...
Read moreHonestly, we had high hopes for this place. But won’t be returning. Bad service, no music, the booth we sat In wasn’t swept and had a used cup under the table. I had to read in the comments that there’s a salsa bar? Which the waitress never mentioned to us. The menu doesn’t say $25 for 6 taco’s just says taco’s. The waitress didn’t want to tell us what drinks they had and had us walk over to see the selection. Why is this not on the menu? She didn’t even check on us to see if we needed anything after we got our food, just came over to say we had to get our bill up at the front. We saw her just playing on her cell phone behind the counter the entire time. My fiancé couldn’t even eat the food we ordered, the meat looked like dog food with cheese on it. Seriously $25 for a plate of meat with cheese and 6 taco shell’s. No lettuce, veggies, sour cream nothing. Just very plain and disappointing. I love Mexican food but I’ve honestly had better food at mucho burrito. I just don’t find I got my moneys worth. She didn’t even tell us how much the drinks cost. We couldn’t...
Read moreGreat little out of the way spot. Nice atmosphere, good food and good prices. We went around 7pm on a Saturday night for a quick bite. The place was packed which was, we thought, a good sign. Unfortunately, that meant that the two staff and (I presume) one cook were overwhelmed with orders. We grabbed the only table that wasn't piled with plates from departed groups and waited to place our orders. Eventually the server came around and was very apologetic. Several tables departed after waiting awhile for their orders. Our food eventually arrived and it was good. Enchiladas were tasty and a good portion size. Barbacoa burrito was a little under-seasoned, but the addition of tableside condiments remedied that.
Overall, as a table of two, we were satisfied with our meal and totally empathized with the overworked servers. They gradually caught up as we were finishing our meals, and returned the cluttered tables to a more customer friendly condition. Would definitely give this place another try, maybe not on a busy Saturday night, but overall worth...
