McDonald's — Restaurant in Medicine Hat

I'm sorry McDonalds... but your food is terrible... all of it, even, perhaps especially, your 'healthy' options. Nothing on your menu tastes good except your coffee, if it gets made right.

In all your restaurants we've visited from Nova Scotia to British Columbia, my family hasn't received a properly prepared order in nearly Two Years!! Considering we let the kids pick McDonalds once per month, that is atrocious!! The longest stretch I tracked was over 30 consecutive drive-thru orders wherein at least one item was either made wrong or missing.

Years ago, when I would go into the restaurant with my receipt (after checking the order in the parking lot) I was always offered something free or a rebate on the item/s in question, in consolation for the inconvenience. I didnt always accept the gesture, but it's been at least three years since I've even received an offer of courtesy like this!!

I believe that, much to the dismay of my children, we will be permanently boycotting McDonalds if some massive gesture of regret and repentance isn't seen.

I hope that enough people share publicly their related history with you in an endeavor to restore McDonalds to the mediocre fast food joint it once was, and I thank you for the many previous years of good service and OK food prior to what changes have come about over the last 5...

We were at the McDonalds in Red Cliff Alberta tonight and had the absolute worst experience. For starters the crew was incredibly disrespectful towards the floor manager. We ordered 3 meals 2 big mac and 1 mcchicken with cheese and tomato and an extra jr chicken. We waited well over 10minutes for our food. When we got it what we thought were all of our meals were stuffed into a B bag. I opened the bag to make sure all the food was there and 2 of the fries were laying on top of the burgers they were only half full. We were missing the jr. Chicken. My son took a drink of hit hot chocolate to find it was literally just hot milk. We waited 5 minutes for the crew member to fix it. When we got to back she gave it to us with no lid on it over flowing and only like warm. We were traveling so we got back on the highway and realized we were missing the mcchicken so we had to turn around back track and get it replaced. I'd also like to note there was another customer there who ordered a large coffee with half water. After 20minutes of waiting finally asked for it. I can say I likely...

Stopped at this location on my way to Calgary. Was a little early for a burger as I was told by the colleague at the drive thru window( 10:55). Dinner starts at 11:00. So I waited in the parking lot and then went in to purchased a cheese burger combo at 11:00 pm sharp. Meal was placed on the counter at 11:04, I paid 10.54 cents and drove off. As I started to eat some fries they were ice cold, and the burger was as stale and cold liked it had been cooked the day before. They should have served this meal at the drive thru window 5 minutes earlier, instead of wasting my time. My rant here today is to follow travellers avoid this location on the trans Canada highway. The food is not worth the wait nor is it fit to eat. To bad McDonalds has left a real bad taste in my mouth. Oh by the way it’s in a garbage bin just along the highway outside Medicine Hat, in case they would like to use the bread again. What a waste...
