Medicine Hat Pizza — Restaurant in Medicine Hat

Drove from Milk River to Medicine Hat as my wife is playing a concert later on today. I was left alone to explore the city for a few hours and get lunch. I love eating pizza so I decided to stop into medicine hat pizza and donair and I'm sure glad I did. The pizza is to die for. The fresh toppings on top, fresh dough, cooked properly, amazing value. Can't beat the price. The establishment is very clean and the booths allow for a cozy atmosphere to sit and enjoy conversations. There are soo many other options on the menu to try and pictures that show off the product. Instead of throwing away your money at chain restaurants, How about giving this local business a go. The owner and her sons are so personable to chat with and her 2 sons just want to help their mom out as often as they can. I saw the one son bring in products for his mom all at once and then said to me after we chatted for a few moments that he has to get on the road to Calgary. A quiet and clean environment unencumbered by competing televisions or loud music. Simple in atmosphere, diner-like in nature.

The staff is kind, attentive, courteous, and generous.

A perfect place to meet-up with friends for a bite prior to bar-hopping. Or, a place to consider for an easy and reliable, no-frills dinner-date. A place where you aren't overloaded with sensory input and can actually get to know your dinner-date!

The slice of pizza and donair my wife and I enjoyed tonight definitely hit the spot.

My wife, though, a native Scot, is anxious to sample the curries and other East-Indian menu offerings.

I have had a few very delicious Donairs from here, but seeing they sell naan bread and having become accustomed to donner kababs on naan bread while in England I asked "middle Muhammad" for a "donair" (basically an English donner kabab) on a 12" naan bread. And he specially made me one and it was delicious!!! Even just the garlic naan bread alone is the most delicious naan I have ever tasted. They are a family business consisting of three brothers from cashmir between India and Pakistan and their naan bread Donairs are the absolute best I have tasted this side of the Atlantic.
