Morgan's Pizza — Restaurant in Medicine Hat

I don't get pizzas that often but when I do I have always gone to Morgan's Pizza for quite a few years and always thought they were the best. A couple of months ago when I ordered a pizza, I always pick up, not delivered..I was very disappointed with it. There was very little cheese on it and over baked. I over looked it knowing that things can't be perfect each time. A week ago, Monday 05/30/22 I called in for another order and should have checked it before paying and leaving. After I got home and opened the box I knew right away that it won't be that good. The crust was totally burned black and the small slices of ham were curled up and also burned, and the pizza itself was very dry. I will take part of the blame because I did call her and tell her I will be a bit later to pick it up and not to keep it in the warming oven because it would be cold by the time I get home anyway, I also mentioned at the time of ordering not to bake it totally thru. Once again it was very disappointing, had one slice and the rest went into the garbage. Maybe it's under new ownership or the staff or girl there at the time don't care, but one thing is sure, I will never go back there again. I can overlook once but not twice and definitely not take a 3rd chance. I'm sure there are other places in Medicine Hat who make...

Morgan's Pizza used to be the go to place to order a really great tasting pizza. Best in town for taste. And Price. A large pizza for 30 bucks plus delivery, awesome deal for a single person. That's 2 meals! Sometimes 3 if I'm not super hungry.

But when it becomes "unfeasible at this time" to make anything other than small alterations from existing menu choices, that's not really feasible for me then. Makes me question freshness on the pizza being made for me if anything other than alterations are available at this time? And if its that difficult to put different toppings (that already exist on your menu) on a pizza to accommodate a customer that's been getting pizza here for over 15 years....then I think that's also not very feasible for me to spend anymore money here. Sad because I believe in tipping our delivery drivers well! 20% or custom over if on a pay day. I think I'll go somewhere a little more...

I think this is my first bad review and I really really wanted to like this place. For starters, the girl who took the order and payment this afternoon just seemed miserable..whether she hates her job or life I don't know. But good customer service would have started this on the right foot...The greek salad was nothing short of awful. Just tiny little chopped up pizza toppings (gr. Pepper, onion, tomato and black olives, hardly any feta) no cucumber or lettuce and very watery/oily. The pizza crust was SO thick it took away compeltely from any other flavors of the pizza. We had two individuals so I'm not sure if the small size made the crust that much thicker? Or maybe that's just the normal. I am giving two stars however because the lasagna was really good and my daughter said it was the best she's ever had (ouch!) Lol wish I could give a better review...
