TacoTime — Restaurant in Medicine Hat

I’ve come to this location a lot and normally have no issues with service. Its a go to for me when I’m on a 30 minute lunch break and easy to access since I also work in the mall but the last couple of times I’ve been here I’ve been met with rude behaviour from some of the newer staff members. I have a tomato allergy and I’m currently pregnant unfortunately leading to me being unable to stomach the smell or taste of beans and corn among other things which sucks because I love their bean and corn el cruncho.

On a lunch break today with my boyfriend I asked for them to substitute the bean and corn mix with rice and remove the salsa and the girl rolled her eyes, sighed, then snarkily asked if that’s what I wanted. As she was preparing the order she stormed off to grab other parts of my order and threw down the mexi fries onto my tray. The food is great and I understand the frustration on changing a certain aspect of your menu items but why are you throwing a fit over something small and making me feel bad over 1) being pregnant and having cravings and 2) having an allergy...

Oh, Taco Time, how I had such high hopes for thee. Thy name spoke of joy and satisfaction, but instead, thou hast brought me nothing but regret. With an eager heart and an empty stomach, I ventured to taste thy offerings, trusting in thy promise of goodly fare. But alas, thy food was a trickster, wearing the mask of flavor while hiding the storm it would soon unleash upon my being. Thy beans and sauces, though seemingly harmless, conspired in secret to bring forth a torment I could not have foreseen. The night that followed was one of misery, as my body became a battleground for thy wicked creations. I was left broken, robbed of peace, and tormented by the consequences of trusting thee. I visit TacoTime often, and I'm always impressed with the quality of food and service. Recently, I was served by Manpreet, one of the female staff members, and she was fantastic! I ordered a Veg Cruncho, and it was absolutely delicious - fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Manpreet was very friendly and attentive, ensuring my order was accurate and that I had a great experience. It's always nice to see staff who go the extra mile to make customers feel welcome.
