A&W Canada — Restaurant in Melfort

So here lets start at the beginning, me and my family go for a quick supper as we were heading back to saskatoon. We walk in and are completely ignored for the first 5 mins like the young girl what's literally avoiding eye contact which is fine I understand you're busy there one car in the drive through and two other couples already eating but lets just say all three people behind the till were all busy. But then our food is literally done in about 45 seconds i barley had time to get my kids seated at the table and they were like your foods done. So in time it took me to walk from the till to the table they cooked 3 meals. Okay okay well maybe it was pretty much ready since we ordered very common meals. Now we get to the good part our pattys on our burgers looked weirdly slimy but hadn't taken a bite yet. My girl takes a bite of her poutine and says wow the cheese curds are ice cold and not melted at all I'm like wow I'll bring it up to the till and get them to warm it up for you. So I bring it up to them and it took them longer to warm up the poutine than it did to make our three meals initially. So i get back and now my girlfriend is upset about how disgusting this is cause her burger is cold and seems uncooked in the middle. So thank you A&W that...

If you've been to an A&W in the last 10 years this will be very familiar. It's like any of the updated A&Ws. Slightly different configuration because it was refurbed rather than new built.

I was in the area because of business and was with a colleague on our way home. We stopped and had a Crunchy chicken sandwich meal and a Mozza hamburger meal. We had onion rings instead of fries. They make real onion rings unlike some fast food places.

The sandwiches were good and the frozen glass mug of root beer was really refreshing. The onion rings were great. Crispy breading and well cooked onion inside.

We had other choices in Melfort but wanted what A&W had to offer. So if you're traveling north or south and pass through Melfort you could stop for A&W if...

I think , A&W is adding to the list of bad customer service. I brought the masala veggie which comes with peri peri sauce and the first time I went in, I got it with that sauce and today they gave me a different sauce. When I went to ask them, they rudely told me that we just have this and we will not give you any other sauce. When I said that I have been here earlier and I was given the one with peri peri sauce the supervisor who was in the kitchen just said I don’t know what sauce he gave you, Just take the burger and go....
