Burger King — Restaurant in Merritt

Huge parking lot. Could easily park a trailer or big rig. Not worth stopping for a meal, but the building is big with a couple of fast food restaurants inside, convenience store and a big washroom with plenty of stalls.

We went inside on our way through on a Monday night. Food took about 10 mins, although there were 3 staff members and they weren't serving anyone else. It seemed as though they were all in training, maybe?. Timers going off nonstop and no one bothered to reset them, which was a bit annoying.

I had the honey hot chicken burger, which was alright; not spicy in the slightest, but very salty and not worth the price imo. My fiancé didn't mind his roadhouse burger. It was greasy, but that's what you expect with fast food. The burgers were pretty filling, which is good because the fries were beyond stale and genuinely tasted like cardboard :| . Atmosphere is dirty, would be an understatement. The backside door area of the BK is very disturbing, yes DISTURBING. There's garbage and grease and a very nasty BBQ sitting outback for some reason.

The couple times I went there for food they were always out of more than one or two things.

The times it was just for coffee, it'd be old coffee sitting in a community hall style decanter, and they overcharge for a cup they only full 2/3 ful and I have to complain and ask them to fill it, EVERY SINGLE TIME

The service at the till, the ladies are nice and do as well as they can given the resources they lack. That's the only good thing i can say about it, is the people working the till are very nice and polite

Taste and quality wise it's 2 stars at best on its best day. Much like the esso its located I'm, this burger King should lose its franchise name as its an embarrassment to the brand and to the people it...

Today was the last time I went to this location, I ordered a Bacon Crispy Chicken Burger to go, the burger smelled like raw meat and looked bad. The Chicken patty looked like it has been out for days and bacon looked uncooked, when I went back to point this out the staff didn't care at all.

This is for some people who work in these fast food restaurants - you are not doing any favors by taking orders and handing out the order, the customer paid for the food. If you hate your job so much maybe consider something else, yes it is hard and it is hard for all of us, you are not entitled to anything you don't work for or deserve. So please do the job right by making sure the food is prepared and delivered to a customer for what they paid you for. Burger King needs to do better in service and food at...
