If there was an option for a -4 star that is what I would rate this place. Started off great then the meal came.....no cutlery, raw veggies, over cooked meat. Then trying to get utensils or the meal corrected ended up being such a hassle. Waitress forgot about our table. Waited for a refill for over 15 mins. Meanwhile watched the waitresses walk by our table numerous times. Asked for a couple of glasses of water, again waited a ridiculous amount of time for it. When the corrected meal finally came everyone in our party had completed their meals and the person ate alone. When trying to raise these issues with the manager, she was VERY dismissive of the concerns and interrupted with the excuse 'oh um our kitchen is short staffed'. Saying it had horrible service would be an understatement. Salt and peppers were empty, asked for another set, asked a second time to a different waitress, only to receive them after all meals were eaten. Thanks for the food poisoning Mr. Mikes. I ordered the Cajun chicken Fettuccine Pomodora and was sick throughout the entire night last night and so far throughout this morning. I don’t know what you did to make the food go bad, but completely unacceptable. Best believe there will be a complaint launched because this was not fair to me at all.

Not to mention my mother in law ordered a mushroom burger and it didn’t come with mushrooms; they fixed it by bringing out a little side of mushrooms for her to put on herself. When they brought the burger out there was some kind of liquid dripping off the side of the plate. When they put the plate down in front of her all her toppings slid off the burger into her lap and some on the floor. Luckily there was nothing wrong with my partners or my daughters food.

The wait was immensely long and the whole dinner cost over $100.00 which it was definitely not worth. I know now that I for sure wont be going back because after being food poisoned I have an adversion to this...

SO, to start my review off; first of all I wanna say that when I first started coming here, the main chef (Sheldon), the food was AMAZING!!!! And, I don't know what has happened to this place now since he's started furthering his education. Except it has straight gone to hell !!! The food is terrible, overcooked, orders screwed up (simple ones at that), had to wait up to 15 minutes for a coffee refill when there's like 6 customers in the restaurant, the atmosphere feels very stressed out, the worst it's ever been. The servers that are here, don't know what they're doing; not listening to what the customers are saying/ordering. This has happened the last 5 times we've been here and we spend atleast $300 everything we come here which is from 2-3 times a week. We've supported this restaurant as it's new to Merritt, but we will be going elsewhere from now on (or come here when Sheldon ...
