I went and ordered three breakfast meals. 2x maple bacon croissant with medium peach quencher and medium steep tea, 1 sausage farmers wrap with a hash brown and caramel iced coffee. When I received my food I noticed I had 1 hash brown and asked about the other 2 and was told I didn’t order meals and that I had ordered 2 individual breakfast sandwiches, 2 individual drinks and one meal.
The manager came over and his solution was for me to pay for two hash browns individually. I stated why would I pay individually when there is a combo price? And asked to have it adjusted and I’d pay the difference. (I paid $26.48, the adjusted price would have been $27.70) he proceeded to ask if I’d pay individually (hash brown is $1.99 each). I went inside and had the lady at the till pull up the same food items to see the exact difference from what I’d paid and what the adjustment should have looked like.
Sure I would have only paid an extra $4.00 but the point is why should I have had to? So I asked for a refund and was given $26.00 back. I then asked for his name as he wasn’t wearing a name tag and how I could make a complaint about the service, he informed me he is the only manager and to call Kelowna and proceeded to ignore me thereafter.
Now I question his managerial skills, lack of problem solving and integrity. It’s just $4.00 but with theft and inflation we shouldn’t worry that we’re also being taken advantage of by any corporation or their employees. I personally won’t return to this location and would encourage everyone to ensure they are paying a proper price or go to the...
Read moreI am a local and I go to this tim hortons quite alot but Today was the last straw I ordered a large ice capp at the drive thru I told the the lady who was taking my order that I want a caramilk or carmel without chocolate chunks but to add whip topping she charges me for the ice capp at supreme price of $5.49 I proceed to window to pay and she hands over my ice capp without the whipped topping she proceeds to say I have to pay extra for it which was an extra .50 cents I told her I'm already paying for the Supreme but she continued saying no so I paid extra now for something that had to be included this isn't the first time that the workers at this location charged me extra for whipped topping which even after paying extra they insult you by putting a small amount when it clearly shows in the pictures of ice capps with the topping on there ordering tvs any how she also refused to give me the .10 cents off for using my tim hortons reusable tumbler. I definitely don't get this type of bad service in kamloops or any where else I go I'll be filing complaint for the fact that Merritt location charges extra money on items that should have included whipped topping I paid $6 dollars for the end product this location need to talk and train their employees what there items include otherwise it's false...
Read more4:45pm I went through the drive thru, tried to order a spicy chicken wrap with fry wedges and a med vanilla cold brew. I was told they no longer sell the “cold drinks” and they only have hot drinks here. I was disappointed, but I ordered a coffee. Asked to order a dip with my wedges but was told they don’t carry dip ? I thought that was weird but anyway, I went to pay at the window, and told only after paying that they didn’t have fry wedges. Really upset, but I got a refund for it. The guy at the window was totally confused what my drink was and kept asking other staff what to give me while holding my hot coffee. When I finally got my order, I tasted my coffee and it was just cream and hot water, no coffee. Or at least really watered down coffee. My wrap barely had any sauce. I’m not sure what training was provided at this location but I was not impressed and I was in a hurry to get to a meeting so I didn’t stop back to get this fixed. I live in Osoyoos so Merritt is too far for a normal drive for me, but I would like to see that this is rectified by a credit, otherwise next time I’m down there for a meeting I will not choose...
