May be good for just drinks? Service very slow. Waitress greeted me by glaring at me with a very strange face that made me a bit frightened. I didn't know if she thought I was someone she knew and didn't like or she just hated the way I looked. The 2 other guests I was with didn't know what was happening either. They thought maybe the same thing above or was questioning if she should ID me, but didn't and the glaring continued to where I didn't look up when she came to the table. Service was so slow that I had a smoke or two before server arrived back and I saw our server texting and smoking as well in that fenced area. She was salty. Then when our food came very late, after all the tables we saw arrived later, it was burnt (mostly edges and on top) and plates were hot. Indicating that they were probably sitting under a food lamp for a long time. They may consider helping run food for other server's tables. Drinks were fine but glasses were dirty, it looked like maybe pulp residue was in there. Still drank it because I'm really not that picky. Still thanked her and was trying to be nothing but nice - maybe she had a bad day and gave her a 20% tip. This place was clean and the food was alright. Nothing special. We stopped by on our way thru town on a Friday at 3pm (May 31/19) It was pretty empty. A few other couples and one guy by himself. We waited at the front but no one was around so we just sat ourselves down. It took the waitress couple minutes to notice we were even there. The waitress was nice. It seemed like it took a very long time to get our food. After the waitress dropped it off we didn't see her again for 20 minutes. Usually after serving your food they come back a minute later and ask if the meal is ok and ask if you need anything else but she didn't check on us at all. The food was standard. Not awful but not amazing. We ordered the chicken pasta and a burger. I asked for my pasta to go and tried to hand her my plate but she just walked away and came back with a container and handed it to me. I have never in my life had to pack my own leftovers. I didn't mind, it was just unusual. Usually restaurants are all about going out of their way for good service but this waitress was more interested in chatting with the guy that was there by himself. We were enroute from Kelowna to Vancouver and decided to stop for lunch here. We also chose this place as we wanted to watch the Euro semi finals for soccer. There were five of us. For a Tuesday afternoon, the place was still moderately busy. Service was quick and friendly, food was moderately good but for vegetarian options I feel they could have had better alternatives. The falafel sauce had eggs, veggie burger had mayo. For someone who was egg intolerant, they could not offer an alternative sauce. I ordered the veggie burger which came without mayo so was very dry to eat. My friends ordered the panini with chicken which they said was also dry . The fettuccine pasta was delicious and creamy.
