Merritt's hidden gem! Amazing hot drinks and sandwiches - but they also have the best "grab and go" snacks/meals in town! Their fridge is always stocked with an assortment of fresh salads, dessert cups, fruit cups amongst other goodies. I love how they feature monthly "drink flights" so you can taste three different seasonal drinks.

They often have vegetarian/gluten-free items too and offer milk alternatives for their drinks.

If you need sourdough or a loaf of freshly baked bread, they also bring in LOCAL artisan items - even local meat, preserves, spices, handmade items like greeting cards and pottery. An excellent place to grab unique gifts for birthdays or Christmas!

Food and service is excellent. Serena and her crew do fantastic job making sure your experience is a great one. Highly recommend...

Edited: My husband had a corporate lunch where his Sulphite allergy was misunderstood and allergens were served to him. After receiving his review Serena was really open to meeting to discuss the allergy and ways that it can appear through the food stream. I feel confident that the team will be taking steps to ensure that foods served as sulphite free will be.

Andrews reviews: Corporate Lunch, told them my allergies. Not only was the allergen misspelled on the container, there were known ingredients in the lunch that had the allergen.

Response for below: I have a very sensitive sulphite allergy. The container was labelled sulphates, had green grapes in the container (typically gased with SO2 and therefore contains sulphites), and then there was dried fruit in the bread which is also high risk...

My new favorite spot in town! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the vibe of the place is just so cozy and welcoming. I seem to keep coming in when the gluten free goods are out of stock (apparently very yummy and popular!) so the owner gave me a small plate of fruit to go along with my latte today, free of charge! It was such a lovely gesture, she really didn't have to do that but I appreciated it so immensely. I love that there are new drink flights you can try that change every month! Such a great idea for someone like me who can never make up my mind on which fun drink to order haha. The raspberry vanilla latte is a MUST try this month! I highly recommend this place and I already can't wait to go back and try more items...
