My-Chosen Pizza — Restaurant in Metchosin

Several weeks ago we drove over from Saanich (30 mins) to pick up two pizzas. When we arrived home, our son's pizza was not what he'd ordered; an unfortunate mistake as he didn't like it so it was wasted. I called to let them know about this and the young fellow on the phone was friendly & apologized. He kindly offered a replacement pizza for our next visit. He said he's make a note of it on our phone number.

Last night my wife and I were on our way back from a visit to Sooke & we dropped in. The staff could find no record of this ‘voucher’ & eventually said "I guess we'll trust you". She asked around & said we’re willing to give you $20. Our previous pizza was more than that but...ok. We paid the slight overage & a tip and then went upstairs to have a beer (it was very busy so we sat on the patio in the rain) while we waited the 40 mins for our pizza (& yes - their pizza is that good).

When we went back down to pick up our pizza a different staff member asked us to pay and seemed miffed that she couldn't confirm that we'd already paid.

In the end, we were made to feel like we were trying to get something for nothing, after they made the original mistake as well as the offer to replace it.

The pizza is very good, but your customer service is lacking. My wife and I are retired and certainly don't need a teenager to tell us that they’re going “trust us". As an ex-foodservice executive, I'd say that your staff would benefit from some...

Pizza is very good, they put out great product but their customer service and kitchen staff clearly dont care much. Ive ordered pizza a few times over the last few months and not once have they gotten my order right. I guess the second and third time, I shouldve been checking my pizza before paying them or leaving the shop. 1st time I ordered a standard pepperoni and got one with shrimp on it (love shrimp but I'm allergic), I called them to get another made and no one answered. Second time I ordered the special and a meat lovers and got a veggie and some chicken pizza. Today I ordered and yet again they messed up both pizzas; we ordered one perogie with no onion and got tons on it and a pepperoni with only dried pep and got both (wife isnt a huge meat fan and hates onions) i called to complain and ask for them to do something about the multiple orders being messed up and they didnt care at all, so I will not be returning and will always recommend people choose...

We love the pizza here…however this time we ordered online and got there 3 minutes before the pickup time online indicated…so we waited which was fine. Was told about 5 minutes. 10 minutes later I checked in again and was told another few minutes. We ended up waiting 20 minutes from the pickup time. We weren’t told until after they had handed us the pizzas that there was a mistake (it would have made us feel more understandable regarding the wait if we were told that when they first discovered the mess up). We got home only to find that one of the pizzas isn’t remotely close to what we ordered. It’s good pizza…don’t get me wrong. But I can’t honestly say whether we will go again because we paid a lot of money for something we didn’t necessarily get. Staff were nice though but a bit more clarity would have been...
