If I could give a rating of less than 1 star, I would.
We ordered a sizeable amount of food from this place last night (November 20, 2018). Not Only did we receive half full food containers, but the substance that was contained within which was being passed off as food, I wouldn't even feed to my dog!
This was THE most disgusting facsimile of food I have ever recieved from an establishment whose business it is to make food!
The chicken balls were dried out and fairly tasteless. The sweet and sour sauce was so dark it looked like a black cherry sauce and .... Was tasteless. Also it was so thick I could have used it for wallpaper glue.
The beef Lo mein.... A beginner cook could do better! The noodles were maybe just a slightly better version of those you would find in a Mr. Noodle package. The dish itself was yellowish in colour ( I remind you that we ordered BEEF). The only vegetable other than onion was julienned carrot and the "meat" (what little there was) looked liked it was boiled and was rubbery and chewy. The only spicing in the dish was garlic. The noodles were a sticky mushy mess.
Wonton soup.... The broth was a weird bright orange colour and to top it off we got half a small styrofoam container with 4 wontons that had maybe 1/2 teaspoon of filling if lucky. It honestly was a bit scary to look at.
Fish and chips.... The French fries looked like they were oven baked but when we received them they were wet and mushy. The fish was the thinnest saddest thing you have seen and over cooked till mostly crunchy.
The hamburger was dry, overcooked and no seasoning and the lettuce...

Though the staff were courteous and generally quick to fulfill an order, the food itself is absolutely mediocre. If you either have a functioning, discerning pallet, and/or have had quality Chinese cuisine in the past, you'll notice that the food carries a distinct, out-of-place smokey flavour, and that the vegetables are questionably vinegary. The latter is likely due to the chef using near-rotting produce as ingredients. They don't carry the distinct tastes, crunch, nor chewiness of ripe greens (depending on the specific vegetables utilised). I nearly hope this is due to my having come in forty minutes close to closing, so they didn't have much else available to cook. Almost. To wrap it all together, the meal lacks any kick, even when described as supposedly "spicy".
The portions are serviceable and would likely count as filling had I been able to stomach eating any more of the dish. The egg rolls were good, though I'd have preferred to be saying this about the kung po chicken I bought.
Make note, I haven't tried anything under their Canadian and sandwich menus. Perhaps there lies Bleu Garden's talents.
The prices are at least fair, if you merely wish to satiate an irritating hunger. However, if you're looking for quality with your purchase, something you can truly savour? This isn't the...
Read morePlaced an order for delivery tonight and paid $90 for mediocre food I use to go to this place quite frequently needless to say the quality of food has declined drastically it tasted refried or reheated and when we opened up the bag we noticed instead of the chicken chow mein we ordered we got chicken chop suey so I called them back and the lady over the phone said chow mein and chop suey are the same thing.. let me tell you they aren't even close to the same one is fried noodles and the other is bean sprouts instead of arguing until I was blue in the face I just hung up and will NOT be returning I'd rather drive 45 minutes to Barrie to eat at a Chinese restaurant down there.. maybe do better next time with both customer service and quality of food. VERY DISAPPOINTED...
