I have been to this location many times without issues, however this evening I didn't have a great experience. At the drive thru I was given two bacon hamburgers rather than Beyond Meat burgers so I called and they said to come back and they would sort it. They were very apologetic and it was not problem for me at all, although slightly annoying to have to drive 10 minutes back across town again and back. I told then it wasn't a problem, I just wanted to let them know so they could get two more burgers ready. When I arrived I asked if they would give me another order of the fries since mine were now at home getting cold and wouldn't be very nice to have with my burger. They would not budge on that. I was not offered so much as a coupon for my trouble. The corrected burgers were fine when we ate them but I was very disappointed in the customer service in the end. Especially considering that I was very pleasant about having to go all the way back to get it sorted. Had I brought my cold fries back along with the burgers they only would have been tossed in the garbage, and fries are not an expensive food so they could have easily given me a nice hot, fresh serving of them. After all, I had spent $38 for 2 burgers 2 fries and a drink. I don't eat fast food that often but when we have had any delay in the drive thru or a mixup with an order at McDonald's (or just about anywhere else) this would have been rectified by offering a coupon or additional item as an apology. Things happen, and I understand that. It's what a business does about it afterwards that really makes either a positive difference or leaves a sour taste. Sadly this time it...
Read moreTonight at 6:00 pm at the A&W drive thru I was given the 2 Baby Burgers and 2 Chubby Chicken Combos I ordered, and I payed $37 dollars for it all. My friends and I got food. Half way through chicken burger was clearly raw chicken. As soon as she noticed she spit it out. We aren’t sure if she ate any of it. I called the store and talked to a female manager. I said to her I just came through drive thru and the one chicken burger was raw and she asked me what she wanted me to do about it. I told her that I won’t be coming back and I wanted all my money back and she said if I came into the store with my receipt I would get my money back. When I went in the person at the cash register didn’t go get the manager for me and I told him it’s raw and he said to throw it out. He only gave me $9.35 back only for the chicken burger and I said to him the manager I talked to on the phone said she was giving me all my money back and he said no we can’t do that & there wasn’t no manager there. Tomorrow I’m getting in contact with the Health Board. I’m very disappointed with how I was treated by the manger and the guy that gave me my money back. They acted as if it wasn’t wrong what happened. The manager on the phone didn’t seem to care about possibly getting severe food...
Read morePoor attention to detail at drive thru. Twice this month, I've ordered onion rings with my order and got fries. The first time, I called the store and left a message telling them of the mistake. I was called back and was told that my name was in their book and next time I was in, I would get free onion rings (funny my bill said i paid for them). Now today, i went through the drive thru again (early supper--my daughter has programs) and on getting home...no onion rings again. I stopped in later on today and told the woman at the register what had happened. She went to grab me some onion rings to replace what was missed. The "manager" who was back in the kitchen area told her to put then back and not give me anything until I brought back the fries. I told her the fries were gone and I would pay for them, but I wanted the difference in price refunded. The manager came to the till and said there would be no refund without a receipt and to come back tomorrow. The $2 difference is no big deal, but being treated this poorly is unacceptable. No apology was offered. Believe me the last thing I wanted to do tonight was complain about this. Getting the order right in the first place would...
