First and last visit here today. I know some folks like it, just my personal experience. Very over priced for ths portion sizes. Got the mozza burger and it said it had a hugs wedge of mozza cheese. No. It has something half the size of a highliner fish triangle. The burger itself once I took that off was okay. My husband got the fish and chips. They did not have any xtra crispy batter so he got original. He said it was alright, but had to eat it plain because their tartar sauce was bland. I tried it as well and there was nothing there for flavor and it was SO thick. My son got some poutine thing and he loved it. However...for a poutine of any sort to be $3 more expensive then a 2 piece fish and chips is laughable. $19 for poutine...no thanks. I also got their onion rings. They get props for those. They were on point. That being said...if you are going to charge people out the who ha for "okay" at best food dont be adding a .25c environment fee to their order without telling them first. This is precisely why your staff got no tip. There was also a woman cleaning the floor around our table...dont really care for dirt flying around while we are eating but I guess thats how they do things. The man who took our order was GREAT! The rest of the staff were very rude in my opinion. Likely just over worked and under paid. For the prices of this place we could have went into someplace nicer lile frank and ginos or fletchers and had actual food for less....

Firstly, it's a chain.....but we REALLY need one out West.

Pretty popular place, but the ordering line moves pretty quickly. It's kind of a hybrid......between a Fast Food Burger/Taco Bell/Subway in that whatever you order is made fresh and then goes to the "topping bar" for a wide array of toppings & sauces.......such a great idea.

The Belly Buster Three Patty is not as daunting as it sounds.....about the same "filling factor" as a Carl's Junior Really Big Carl/Wendy's Triple/Double ¼ Pounder etc......but really quite tasty.

The Monster Mozzarella Crunch was tasty. the Triple Bacon Poutine was a definite nice addition......3 types of bacon in a very tasty beef gravy with huge chunks of cheese curds (not like many that toss Mozzarella in the mix of some powdered gravy mix).

Seating is a bit of a challenge.....two LONG table with bar seats, with a couple of smaller tables along the wall.

There is a fountain drink/ketchup station.......but the garbage is somewhat hidden around the corner....so many patrons were just leaving their empty ketchup/straw packaging on the counter or floor.......I wouldn't want to be the person looking after THAT area 😮‍💨🤮😡

Staff were pleasant & accommodating during ordering & service.

We hedged on returning for a second meal the next day (to try their Mexican wares) but opted (regrettably) for...

Take Your Own Advice — The Food Is Already Cold Before It Reaches Us The delivery driver. Because you have zero methods of keeping your own food hot after it's made.

Too often, the food we’re sent to pick up is already cold—left sitting out without heat retention, no urgency to hand it off, and no accountability from the restaurant. Yet delivery drivers are expected to protect food quality with little support.

If this is truly about customer satisfaction, then the restaurant should take responsibility for keeping orders hot before they ever reach our hands. Expecting drivers—many of whom earn below minimum wage after expenses—to do more than the kitchen staff is not only unfair, it’s hypocritical. But yet the multi-million dollar chain restaurant can't have a method to keep their food hot after it's been cooked and waiting for a driver to accept the order?

And yet, this is the sign posted:

“You Must Have Thermal Bag While Collecting Orders No Bag: Cold food Cold Food: Customer's complains Customer's Complain: No Orders No Orders: No Money No Money: Store Close Store Close: No job for me and you :) THANK YOU FOR...

We were on the road for awhile, stopped in for a bite to eat. We stood at the counter for a good 10 minutes watching a worker take her time wiping the counter off, then asks if we were ready to order....been ready 10 min ago. After we ordered, me and the kids had to use the restroom and OMG!! The toilet paper rolls were on the dirty floor....the garbage can looked like it wasn't changed in 2 days, and one of the sinks literally looked like someone threw up in it. There was no papertowel in dispenser, only some rolls up against the sink. I ordered the hog heaven poutine....there was so much gravy on the bottom, it was watery, and there was no taste of BBQ sauce on my pulled pork. Worst experience I've had at cheese curds. Kinda disappointed. Also the container it comes in is cardboard and by time we were half way through, it was soggy and unstable.

Updating my review to reflect my experience today: The service was excellent and the place clean, I tried the buffalo chicken poutine and the Perogi poutine, both are fantastic and the prices are more than fair now. 28$ for a large and a small, the large could've fed me for the day. They seemed to be training some staff in the kitchen at the time and we're still quick, polite and did everything they could to make sure it was exactly how I wanted it. Receipt shows Jeffery was the cashier, clear communication and a polite and effective employee. (original 3 star review from 2018: "Great food, a little on the expensive side (11$ for small/regular poutine) I had the donair poutine and it was very good, the service wasn't the best but it wasn't terrible either. A small is more than enough for one person.")

The set up in this restaurant seems to lend itself to a long gap between ordering and receiving your burger and fries. Our wait was a full 25 minutes while standing around with up to ten other people waiting for our number to be called. A p.a. system or screen with the number being served would have at least allowed us to take a seat to wait.. With that being said the food was absolutely delicious, the portions were huge and the staff was friendly. Working out the organization and staff distribution (the Habanaros staff did not have a single order while we waited so they were simply stating around rather than helping to clear the cheese curds backlog) would make this five star experience.
