I'm not sure where to start with this review. I'm so torn because over the years (different location), I have enjoyed their food.
Went to Galito's Milton the other day and was unfortunately very disappointed with what I witnessed.
Staff cleared the table with the same broom they swept the floors with...I feel this practice is terrible.
We are in covid times when we are being extra vigilant about sanitization and cleanliness. The floor is very dirty (folks walk with outdoor shoes on the floor and track in who knows what), transferring these potential pathogens to a table could be serious. Folks sit and and eat at these tables. Even if the tables are cleaned after being swept, there is no reason to use a dirty broom on top of the table. A cloth would suffice.
So many things go through my mind... -where has the broom been (washroom? Dining room? Kitchen?) -if the shop cleans tables like this, what other substandard cleaning practices do they have?
The food was good-always is, so that is great however if the food is being prepared and or served in a dirty environment, then there's nothing we can say about the taste of the food.
Service was good. The waiter was very attentive and kind.
Location is convenient with a lot of free parking. The restaurant is small but has sufficient seating.
Covid protocols: -they check for I.D. but they were not too worried about full doses being past the 14 day mark (not sure if thats a "thing" or not but that's my understanding) -The staff that I saw were wearing masks -they had tables blocked off, for proper social distancing between parties
The washroom was clean (usually a good sign , but maybe I can't use this as a measure of cleanliness standard anymore)
Just really unfortunate. Will not be returning to this location unless there are some major changes...
Read moreService here is bizarre. I ordered their beef burger and asked if I had options for how well I wanted it done. Guy at the counter was confused and said it was just medium done. Then I asked what kind of cheese I could put in the burger, and he says "uhh... just cheese". I asked "WHAT KIND? Gouda? Mozzarella? Havarti? Blue? What do you have?" He turns and asks the guy in the kitchen and the answer is "Mozzarella" so I said okay let's do that. Later when they bring it to the table, it's your nasty veggie-based yellow slice if cheese like the imitation slices you get for kids at Walmart. Clearly wasn't mozzarella. Disappointing.
While we were eating, my wife was opening her bottle of mango juice and it slipped from her hands, and shattered all over the floor right next to our booth where we were sitting with our two young daughters. I asked the staff to clean it up. The dude came and simply picked up the large pieces of glass and then walked away.... leaving ALL of the juice and plenty of small, very visible pieces of glass on the floor.
We finished our meal and I had to get up and stand next to the booth and physically lift my wife's legs to help her pivot so she didn't step in the liquid or glass as she stepped out, and then picked our kids up off the bench. We walked out while the mess was still on the floor, and nobody was bothering to clean it up. Really poor service.

Read moreWe’ve visited this restaurant before and were previously allowed to dine in using the Groupon deal without any issues. We decided to chose this place to celebrate a Birthday. However, this time was completely different and deeply disappointing. When we asked if we could sit down with the Groupon (something they’ve made exceptions for in the past), the person at the front—Rishab—responded by calling our group a disrespectful name. Keep in mind, he wasn’t provoked to say this in the first place.
Instead of de-escalating, he continued to argue with us and showed absolutely no professionalism. What made things worse was the complete lack of accountability by any staff there—no apology, no effort to resolve the issue, and they flat-out refused to provide any contact information for a manager or supervisor.
We left feeling shocked and disrespected. This was hands down the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I would strongly advise others to think twice before coming here. There are plenty of places that know how to treat their customers with basic decency—this is not one of them.
Manager needs to seriously reconsider their employees and hiring process. He’s apparently gone for a month- you should hurry back before you lose all your customers if Rishab thinks it’s normal to speak to someone...
