I have never been so disappointed or embarrassed in a company the way I was with Jopappa. I have had their pizza before with no complaints. I called at 9:52pm and asked what time they were open until and the person who answered said 10:30pm. I said perfect and that my wife would be arriving shortly to pick up a pizza, he said no problem. I call my wife and tell her to get off on hwy 25; that they were open. She calls me at 10:04pm and says lights are off and door is locked. I tried calling back and of coarse nobody answered. All he had to say was he will be closing early when I called instead of lying to me. Sorry but I usually dont go back to establishments who have poor service or lie to customers. I hope the owner sees this and takes action. This post is on Friday August 12th, 2016, go see who was closing that night. You have just lost two customers.
Update
I considered changing my review trying them again about 8 months after but they were closed again before their close time same scenario I called ahead. I am posting this now because I see others commenting about them closing earliar then what they say. How many wives are going into labour guys? Come on, take the blame and say you screwed up. I just lost more respect for you guys since I found out the pregnant wife was a...
Read moreMy family and I have been going to Jopapas for many years (whenever we visit family in Milton) and we went again this past Saturday. In a world of ever increasing food prices and decreasing quality, Jopapas has been able to maintain it's quality and prices over the years. To feed four adults and four kids, we purchased 2 extra large pizzas (one cheese, one pepperoni), 40 wings, and a large fries. We all ate for under $100 (and had many leftovers).
I've seen other reviews stating that there aren't enough toppings on the pizza. I could see this being possible, as there wasn't a massive amount of pepperoni on the pizza, but this wasn't an issue for our audience and considering the price. The pizzas were very good, as were the fries.
For the wings, we got them with sauce (BBQ and honey garlic) on the side, and they were amazing. Large, crispy, juicy wings with equal amounts of flats and drums (this matters!). The wings are always a highlight for me.
The service was excellent. The two individuals working at the time were friendly and helpful. We phoned in the order and everything was ready at the expected time.
Overall, I would highly recommend this...
Read moreWe really enjoy their pizza and wings. The other weekend we hosted family and friends for the final hockey game before playoffs. Ordered our party pizza and wings for delivery. I live in an apartment, top floor. So, I hear my doorbell ring and I have to go down and around my unit, across a hallway and down my staircase leading to my front door. As I’m going down the stairs, I can see the delivery man is trying to open my front door. This is not a public foyer, this is my front door leading into my apartment. my door was locked, and so I opened the door and right away told the gentleman I saw what he did and that is not okay to ever access someone’s front door/home. He says he wasn’t sure if I was coming to the door. I explained I heard the doorbell, but it takes a moment to get to the door from the top floor. Also, you have our phone number - you call it if you’re unsure anyone is going to answer the door. I know they’ve done that in the past since our unit numbering can be confusing to some. He apologized, fine, and the kind person I am, I still tipped generously. However, it really bothered me he...
