Maybe I'm just jinxed @ this location.
Even if there is one or no cars ahead of me; but the time it took to get my two whoppers after ordering is so ridiculous! 15 minutes! No joke!
This time there was one car ahead of me and I BLAME THEM as much as the person who took my order who claimed to be the Mgr after I asked for one.
She was a petite Asian gal who was very apologetic as I asked wht the delay was which is always like this I added.
Whn I asked for her name she wouldn't give it, okay thn. I thn asked for her Sprvsr? Her reply? I am. Clearly I see she's playing me so I play along. Sorry for the cars behind me.
So on I go about the issue of this long delay; she mentions which @ this point the car that was ahead of me is now @ the 2nd window still waiting while I continue interacting with the Mgr/Sprvsr whn I see them finally getting their food and she starts telling me the reason why it has taken so long was that person in the car ahead ORDERED SIX COMBOS.
I was like okay; with the first thought in my head being "U FRIGGEN SELFISH HUMAN BEING!" with this actually being to the driver in the car ahead of me and the second being the Mgr/Sprvsr which her being more an INCOMPETENT Mgr/Sprvsr.
LET'S ALL UNDERSTAND SOMETHING HERE GOING FORWARD ABOUT ORDERING FOOD @ A DRIVE THROUGH and it's an unwritten rule mind u? LET'S ALL HERE MAKE IT A WRITTEN RULE; and that is any food ordered through a drive through should NEVER encompass an order of six combo's (or even five, or even four, or even three, maybe two but NO MORE THN TWO) to start!
DRIVE THROUGH orders should be small and quick enough that u order and are out in less thn a minute TOPS! Seriously! Not that u make a line of six cars behind u all idling; and I won't get into the impact on the climate cuz let's be honest about the methane that comes out of oneself alone after eating @ BK is; well u know!
Anything beyond a minute from the time u place an order to the time u receive ur order that make it THE RULE whr u INSTEAD arrive @ the establishment, u thn park ur car and walk (health benefit) into the establishment and place ur order! OR if u have someone travelling with u u thn park ur car and get ur passenger to go in and order wht u went there for!
And yes I get that there are parents or others with children and the hassel in getting them out of the car and all; but u need to understand the AFOREMENTIONED RULE about the LESS THN ONE MINUTE FROM THE TIME OF ORDERING TO THE TIME THAT U GET UR FOOD and anything beyond that, well (this also being an educational lesson for the child(ren).
Here's one other thing though with this scenario is whr the Mgr/Sprvsr make better judgment call and tell this soccer/hockey mom driving their minivan full of kids to drive around to a dedicated parking spot whr their food will be brought out by one of their employee's once it has finished so they can continue servicing the patient people in the cars behind them. Hmmmm...
As for the INCOMPETENT Mgr/Sprvsr well; whr I asked why did she not tell that person ahead to drive around to the front entrance/dedicated spot and that their food will be brought out by an employee whn the food is ready so the cars behind can be serviced!? Her reply? Cuz they think I was rude -Seriously?
I'm not sure if she meant that she did tell them and they told her she was being rude or that she was afraid to tell them of being told she was being rude. Anyway my craving for my whopper obviously subsided and I ended up cancelling my order and just took off and went home whr I had a bowl of cereal which produced a nice bowel movement this morning as I wrote this post to top it off!
Thank you BK I'M LOVING IT, sounds familiar? Yeah it does! You know whr that phrase comes from! Which I'll be going from now on; and just in case you don't know it starts with an "Mc" and ends in a "D" and of course thn an apostrophe "s".
Bye-bye WHOPPER u will be missed (@ this location) as u along with ur other menu items have done me well over the many long years I've been loyal/come...

Read moreSo I felt like having poutine from Burger King and I found the nearest location here in Mississauga. This is not a location I’ve ever been to. When I got to the parking lot, I could not find the drive-through at the drive around the big parking lot and the plaza for a good five minutes Before making a U-turn and just buy luck finding the drive-through entrance. There is no signage to say it’s this direction to the drive-through.
Then when I ordered my food, I ordered a poutine and a small pop and the person told me to wait at the first window where I paid instead of going ahead to the second window. I waited a few minutes and then another lady came and told me to go to the second window. I was very confused as to why They would’ve told me to stay at the first window.
Then, when the lady gave me my food, I asked for the receipt she closed the window and I waited for another almost minute and she came back to me and she said may I help you and I said I asked for the receipt she gave me the receipt and that was just about it. Now I can see why this parking lot is so empty.!!!
So where you see that sign of the Tex-Mex whopper apparently you’re supposed to make a left on there and turn in there. Cason point there’s nowhere where it says on that side drive-through this way !!!!
You’ll need to click on the picture of that other restaurant to see the picture of the Burger King sandwich. Unfortunately, the way they crop it on this review. It doesn’t capture that sign unless you click on the...
