Pomodoro Italian kitchen — Restaurant in Mississauga

First time customer and I couldn't be more pleased! Ordered through Ritual app and there was a mishap with my order going in twice. Brought to the attention to the staff and they quickly confirmed I did have two of the same orders; they were helpful and told me that I would need to contact ritual. The staff were prompt to answer my questions in a nice and professional manner. Instead of calling Ritual I let them know that I would just take the extra order, they were happy to oblige and quickly made the extra set of food. When I went back to pick it up after waiting they kindly asked if I wanted a dip for my wait. I politely declined as I felt that it wasn't there fault for the wait, but having that be offered to me shows that they truly care about their customers! Not only was their customer service great, there food was delicious. Got a medium pizza with pepperoni and Italian sausage as well as a spaghetti and meatballs plate. Both were fresh and tasted amazing; the meatballs were exquisite. The portions were also perfect for the amount you pay for. Overall, a happy customer :)...

I have been coming here for probably the past 5 years and this was the worst experience. We ordered calamari to start when the waitress gave it to us we took one bite and the batter slide off as it was raw. I gave it back and said it wasn’t cooked she took it back to the kitchen to be refried and then gave it back to us. We attempted to eat it and again it was almost as if they were frying in cold oil. When our panzerotti came mine was quite greasy but my friends was absolutely disgusting. As seen in the picture you can see the brown oil all over her plate and the napkin she used to try and wipe the oil off when she put it on another plate. It was not busy maybe 4 tables in total but they seem to be focused on uber eats and skip the dishes. Im truly disappointed in the food and the service she even charged us for the raw calamari. To end the horrible experience we went to use the bathroom and both stalls had no toilet paper, my friend had to go and ask for a roll from the kitchen staff. Will not...

I love Italian food, so I was excited to try Pomodoro Italian Kitchen, a new restaurant in my neighborhood. I went there with my friend last weekend and we had a great time. The place is cozy and inviting, with a warm decor and friendly staff. We ordered the bruschetta and the caprese salad for starters, and they were both delicious. The bread was crispy and the tomatoes were fresh and juicy. The salad had a generous amount of mozzarella cheese and basil, drizzled with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. For the main course, I had the spaghetti carbonara and my friend had the chicken parmesan. The pasta was cooked al dente and the sauce was creamy and flavorful. The chicken was tender and crispy, topped with melted cheese and tomato sauce. We were too full for dessert, but we enjoyed our cappuccinos.
