Caribbean Authentic Restaurant — Restaurant in Mississauga

There's a "Jamaican restaurant" or so-called "Jamaican food" for this organization. I went there because I saw the Jamaica national colours and Jamaica food signs. Upon entering, I did have thoughts of existing (which I should), but I saw another Caribbean person waiting on their order, and he said the food was ok. I realized that some Jamaican female was in the back cocking. I had oxtail with curried goat mixed. The Food was ok but you could taste the Indian spice and seasoning in it. I had this meal for dinner and after going to bed. I was waking by the rambling of my stomach about 1 am and I was on and off the toilet until 10 am. I know

it's the curry that gives diarrhoea, but I don't know if it's the Indian curry or if they continued reheating after reheating it twice. But I say all this: there are a lot of individuals impersonating the culture here in Canada, and what you get is not authentic...

I was here yesterday for the first time. I ordered I chicken roti plus a bottle of water.

For this that don't know, the chicken roti is West India style chicken curry on top of a thin bread (called roti) that's been wrapped up with the bread itself, plus a bottle of water.

The roti could have been a little more cooked. Also my curry was a tad salty but not overly salty.

After tax or came to $11.30.

This is more of an industrial like unit for people who work in the area. It is very basic but clean. You definitely wouldn't go there for a meeting.

BONUS - the meat the use is halal. So eat in confidence that it's of a high standard.

Omg the food was AMAZING! My family called me and let me know they were picking up food from here and asked me if I wanted anything. I asked for the curry chana roti thinking it would be a nice snack. The serving was huge!! Weighed heavier than a new born baby and boy was it delicious! There’s a tiny hint of sweetness and mixed with some dips in their hot pepper sauce and it’s heavenly! I was told that the service was also great. They were very sweet, double checked the order before leaving, and bagged the vegetarian items separately from the items with meat in case we were particular about that. I will definitely stop by in the near future to try out more of their options (although it will be hard not to get the same thing again cause it was amazing!!)....
