The WORST Chinese food I have eaten in a long time!

Despite the reviews, I wanted to try a new Chinese takeout place because our choices for Chinese takeout is limited in our area and I heard it WAS good. I ordered our usual - Plain fried rice, Cantonese egg noddles with vegetables, almond chicken soo guy, general tao chicken and sweet and sour sauce. Just driving home with it in the car I could tell it didn't smell like delicious Chinese food, it had a different odour. The plain fried rice was dark like it was cooked in soy sauce, the egg noodles were also in a darker sauce with very little vegetables, the chicken soo guy was fried to the inch of its life and the general tao chicken, which is usually my favourite, had an odour and was the worst general tao chicken I have ever had!!!!!!! The taste was completely off and just tasted old/musty. After a few bites of each I threw my food in the garbage. My husband finished his, but then we threw the remainder out as well--waste of money. I do not usually write bad reviews, but don't waste your time with Empire Wok, go...

First time in here to order .The person who takes order name Tam doesn’t listen and she talk too fast in gibberish she said to me on the phone she’s busy because its lunch time and she doesn’t have time to talk , what and earth is she talking i am placing my orders and she doesn’t have time bad customer service not only that i got only 2 of my 3 orders when i picked up my order i have 6 customers trying to help me to explained my other order is chicken Fried rice simple as that but instead she’s talking about half half of special but i’m not ordering special lunch all i want is chicken fried rice simple as that . I got frustrated because she doesn’t listen and understand even with the help of the customers waiting for their orders i just walk out .By the way i can’t complaint the lunch special is cheap $10.99 but mostly are rice...

I have been getting take out from this place for years, possibly as long as they have been open. The food has always been really good. As long as Lily was working, the customer service was perfect. (she's no longer there) Got food there last night, and it was AWFUL. Tasted terrible. I had ordered the House Special Mein Feng which is something I order quite frequently. There were 3 shrimps, NO pork and a few pieces of chicken that was like cardboard. Noodles were dry and tasteless. I'm upset and angry. Spent almost $40 on food there, and it all ended up in the green bin. This place isn't even near where I live, but always made the drive because I liked it so much. Will NOT be going back there, and will no longer be recommending it to my friends. Don't waste your money here. I'm wondering if there...
