When you walk in to a franchise you just expect the get the same you get everywhere . Let me tell you about this place . I was heading up north after a nice time by the lake , and kids called asking for pizza . This place popped up on google maps , so I stopped. As I entered and the conversation started I realized that the owner is not like any other owner I met . The respect, honesty, politeness was absolutely amazing . This is a man of values and customer service . The. Came the part to get the food , so as I said I expected to get what I get any where else as a Gino’s , but when I arrived home and we took the first piece of, I discovered that this is fresh , extremely well prepared like a proper professional original Italian pizza , and when I say that if you know what I’m talking about , you will know that Italians don’t mess up when it comes to pizza , so all respect you you sir , and wish you all success at your Gino’s pizza Royal Windsor Drive . Keep it up .

Overall the pizza was dope. Let's get to the basics- Double pepperoni, jalapeno, extra cheese and well done. I add hot honey at home. It's a great pizza. It should be a little oily due to the pepperoni and a nice crisp crunch from fresh peppers and a bit of bite. Hot honey adds layers of sweet and spiciness but is totally optional.
Because the extra cheese just melted together then got hard the pizza cuts didn't really matter, this is fixed with a knife at home - no biggie. The amount of cheese also hid the pepperoni so it didn't get crispy (well done). It felt like they did double jalapenos too which was too much and hard to pull out because of the cheese. Unfortunately pickled jalapenos. Thats a descriptive word that should be used on their menu. Fresh jalapenos add a certain crunch that enhances the experience.
Creamy sauce is basic, it heats in the box so it runs a bit smooth or runny. Easy to dip the crust for sure.

I asked for a menu, and the man behind the counter pulled out a crumpled two side paper menu that only had a handful of options, and then he turned around and walked away immediately afterwards! That was the only exchange we had... During mid day, the lights were dim and the shop was gloomy. There were no other customers, and the slices looked very old and dry. I left without buying anything, since it seemed like there was no one willing to take my order... It was a very disappointing first impression, I was expecting a lot more considering the ratings.
