Gulab Fine Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Mississauga

I’m really disappointed with this place. The menu clearly shows the Veg Thali at $12.99, but when I got my bill, they charged me $16.99 instead. That’s almost four dollars more, and nobody mentioned any price difference before taking the order.

This honestly feels like cheating — showing one price and charging another. It’s very unprofessional and not the right way to treat customers. At the very least, they should tell you upfront if the price is different.

Won’t be coming back after this experience.

I understand that you served the appetizer, but that doesn’t change the fact that nobody mentioned the dine-in price was higher. We dined in and tried the Chili Chicken Momos, Mixed Vegetable Pakoras, Shahi Paneer, Garlic Naan, Mango Lassi and Rose Phirni dessert. We asked about the spice level and were given the option to adjust, the spice level ended up being just right. Everything tasted great! The service was friendly, inviting and attentive. Very unfortunate but the food here is extremely mediocre as far as Indian food goes. Severely lacking in flavour and the typical enticing aroma of Indian cuisine. We had the palak paneer, butter chicken, lamb biriyani and butter naan. The only good item was the naan, everything else was extremely over salted and lacking any true flavour.
