The Clarkson Pump & Patio — Restaurant in Mississauga

I had my birthday party here yesterday and it was amazing. I came across this place on Google and the food looked decent and I seen they can accommodate large parties so I called. I dealt with Monica and from day one she was amazing she asked me my vision and it was executed to the tee !!! I was able to have a whole section to myself it was an indoor patio and it was heated so nobody was cold. They set it up with a few tables and some cocktail tables so people could mix and mingle. They gave me the giant connect 4 and Jenga, and was given a mic for karaokee (there was a whole mishap with the screen not working for karaokee not working but we made the best of it and still had a blast. Our server was Jenny and shout out to her !!!!! Her energy and customer service was 1000000% I wanted to party with her lol and my friends and family loved her she was so attentive. It was a very busy night with the maple leafs game but she still was able be very busy and keep my party and me happy ! Jenny is amazing and deserves a raise because she delivered ! The food : try the nachos AMAZING .. the fries and their burgers and pizza were so good ! Drinks were strong and it wasn't too expensive ! Fair prices and good food. Monica thank you for delivering one of the best bday parties I honestly had an amazing time and was so happy with everything. If I had to nit pick id say I wish the karaoke worked better and that is a tech issue not a restaurant issue. We were there till close and not once felt rushed I forgot we were at a restaurant it was such a vibe ! I also woke up to a very nice email from the general manager just thanking for having us and asking how everything went. I have had many bday dinners before and never have they smiled the next day to check in, it was a nice touch .If you want to book a party with them do it ! I came here for the first time on a Saturday night for a friend's birthday. she was hosting a birthday party of 18 people and the restaurant was kind enough to give us a private room. This private room is really well done. It is a small long room that can fit quite a long table. The lighting is great and it even has a TV at the end of it. The food is great. The vibes are great and the service is very good!

Since we were part of a large group, we got a few appetizers to share like the nacho platter and the garlic bread. I had a chance to try the nachos and they were great. For my main I asked our server which pastas she recommended and she gave some great suggestions. I ended up going with the fettuccine alfredo and added chicken to it. I was honestly really pleasantly surprised that it tasted absolutely delicious and also came with a small garlic bread.

I also had the chance to try their sweet potato fries which were also really good.

Since we were here for a friend's birthday we did bring a cake and the staff were so kind and helpful. They brought the cake out and brought knives, cutlery and small plates for us to serve the cake.

They even went above and beyond by offering to take the cake back to the kitchen and keep it in the fridge for us, they actually cut up the rest of the cake and put them in takeout containers for all of us to take home.

In terms of payment, they were able to split bills for such a large party, which I appreciated.

The rest of the restaurant has a very chill vibe as well. They have live music which was nice to enjoy for a bit. However, I also really appreciated the fact that the private room had doors on it which is really nice for privacy if we wanted it. The washrooms here are also very clean.

Overall, I had a great first experience here, and I think I will definitely be back for their patio in...

It's so disappointing to see such a familiar place go downhill as much as The Clarkson Pump has. I've been coming here for many years and in my honest opinion, it seems as though the management is completely non-existent nowadays. The atmosphere in here has declined substantially and I actually feel bad for the staff as they all seem to be under pressure due to the lack of support from management.

Why is everything in this place broken, old, caked in dust and really just a complete eye sore? All of the shutters on the  windows inside are broken and hardly serve their purpose anymore. They are just plain hideous, and can easily be replaced. Not to mention the horrible tables that are so beat up, they look like they came from a dumpster. I swear that's not even half of it. The list goes on. This place is falling apart at the seams and there's absolutey no sense of urgency to fix anything. Does anyone actually care about this place? It's upsetting to me that what once was my favourite place to go out for dinner in Clarkson is now at the bottom of the list.

I will however, continue to order take out from here frequently because the food is always very good! I have never had an issue with their food and absolutely love all the different options they have on their menu!! Just wish that the place wasn't so run down and we could enjoy coming here again.
