Review for Harvey's Location: 2681 Dundas Street West, Mississauga on 10-12-2024 1-Star Review
I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at this Harvey's location that has ensured I won't be returning. What began as a simple drive-through order turned into an unnecessarily confrontational situation due to poor customer service.
The issues began when I received the wrong order. Upon politely bringing this into the resturant and up to the cashier, I was met with rudeness and condescension. Instead of addressing the error professionally, the cashier became argumentative and insisted that I hadn't ordered what I claimed. Her behavior was completely unprofessional – she rolled her eyes at me and made comments under her breath.
When I requested to speak with a supervisor, the cashier's attitude only worsened. After the supervisor arrived, I explained the situation and requested a refund. While the supervisor handled the situation more appropriately, the damage was already done. The level of customer service I received from the cashier was deplorable and completely unacceptable for any food service establishment.
What should have been a simple resolution to a wrong order turned into an uncomfortable confrontation that no customer should have to experience. The cashier's dismissive attitude, argumentative behavior, and unprofessional conduct have ensured that I will never return to this location.
While Harvey's may generally maintain higher standards, this particular location's staff clearly requires better training in basic customer service skills, particularly in handling order corrections and maintaining professional behavior when dealing with customers.

Read moreFirst thing first it is a Sunday afternoon 1:30pm not very busy ... I went through the drive through in a little rush to get home ... The gentleman taking my order spoke clear & repeated my order to me.. Then I pulled up behind the car waiting at the window.. 2 full songs off the radio later he gets his order & drives away !! Why did they not ask him to pull over and bring his order out to him if it was going to take that long?? Then I pull up the man at the window was very polite & handed me my order .. I asked my 12 year old to check it before we pull away?? As she opens the bag the lady Manager opens the window & says wait I think I gave you a normal chicken burger not the buffalo chicken like you had ordered .. she took the Burger went back inside for less than a minute and brought it back to us and said sorry... I drove away ... After getting home my 12 year old opened it up to find that the MANAGER her self had taken the chicken burger and squirted a little bit of buffalo sauce on one side !!!! I was very upset & they forgot the side order of pickles ... So I drove all the way back.. When I walked in the Manager was right next to the till so I handed her the chicken burger and said can you please make it the right way this time... without saying anything to me she went and fixed my order????? How did she know what was wrong with my order ?? I never said what was wrong !!!!!! SO MY QUESTION IS HOW MANY OTHER PEOPLE HAS THIS BIN DONE TO?? The young girl that handed me my order said I'm so sorry ... I said to her why are you sorry it wasn't your mistake ... I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS...
Read moreToday I came in and ordered an Angus burger with bacon. At first when the burger came out it had no bacon on it. That one I can forgive since they added bacon and made it right.
The main issue however is with the bacon they put on. It was raw. Almost entirely uncooked. Gross. If I had come through the drive-thru I would've needed to throw it out. When I mentioned it the lady gave me the excuse that they received the bacon prepackaged like that. Well, I've ordered this same burger from other locations and it's been properly cooked, so the issue is clearly with your location. After I complained, they fixed it, but still..
Here's something for management to consider. Look at your advertising. In fact, have a look at any advertisement for any restaurant that sells a bacon burger. Have you even seen a picture of raw bacon on the burger? No, you haven't. That's because it's disgusting and nobody will come to a restaurant that advertises that. So, the point is, don't advertise nice crispy bacon and then sell bacon that looks like it was recently carved off a pig's arse...
