I’ll leave honest review. I was excited by all the other good reviews, new K Food in town? Why not. We ordered two dish, came out as $40 with tax, left in hunger. Felt like I actually wasted money and time. Small portion for average of $20 price dishes. Quite pricy, was hoping for tasty food for that reason. Unfortunately, foods were not special either. They were very blend and not marinated correctly. I ordered ‘ddukbaegi bulgogi’ it was very soupy. I don’t mind it being soupy, but it was very blend, almost like unseasoned beef soup. The other dish was ‘jeyuk deopbap’. Not marinated, meat was not the part I was expecting. Not marinated correctly + dry part like port butt = chewing on a brick. Cabbages and other veggies were not seasoned too. Servers were okay. They seems like very shy with us? But not with other tables. They asked other tables how they are doing and such, but not with us, even so, they said it as they were passing us by haha. I’m giving 2/5 for now as hoping for improvement, but at the moment I have zero urge to return. Good luck with...
Read moreA mediocre Korean restaurant at best, wouldn't bother to go back given other much better Korean restaurants nearby for less money. Ordered the gamjatang soup. Got a very sad bowl of soup with the prerequisite pork bones with only a tiny potato floating in it. Most other places include a stack of boiled kimchi/bean sprouts on top for added flavor and texture. Cost would be minimal to do this and would have made the soup so much more inspired. As an appetizer ordered squid rings. They showed up after my gamjatang arrived. What I got was a tiny serving of frozen grocery store calamari. Seriously? If that is the best you can do you should take the squid rings off the menu, its an embarrassment for you. The banchan side dishes were well below average, neither fresh nor imaginative. 2 of the 4 dishes were potato based, which just screams "cheap". Overall a disappointing experience, with a little effort it could have been so much better. I don't like giving reviews with low ratings but everything about this restaurant says "Don't Care, just...
Read moreMy recent visit to BON Korean Restaurant left me thoroughly satisfied with both the food and service. We ordered the Pork Bone Soup and bibimbap - while the soup was flavorful, I'd recommend enjoying it in moderation as it leans on the saltier side (though this didn't detract from its rich, comforting taste). The bibimbap was prepared perfectly with fresh ingredients and that signature crispy rice texture at the bottom.
What really stood out was the warm hospitality - our server was exceptionally friendly and even surprised us with two complimentary yogurt drinks after our meal, a thoughtful touch that enhanced the dining experience.
The restaurant's authenticity shines through its clientele - the steady stream of Korean customers placing takeout orders speaks volumes about the quality and genuineness of the cuisine.
While the soup might require some water breaks, the overall experience was excellent. I'll definitely return to explore more of their menu and enjoy that welcoming...
