Pizza Nova — Restaurant in Mississauga

Worst service ever. The only saving grace was that they comped my meal and gave me the pizzas for free in the end.

Called last night at 6pm for a pick-up of a 2 pizza special and was told it would be ready in 25-30 minutes. I show up at 6:30 and they tell me my pizzas are in the oven and will just be a few more mins. I pay for my pizza and wait. I watched as the place filled up with more customers and they slowly got served.

After giving them 30 minutes, I ask how much longer the pizza would be and they said they continued saying it was coming up soon. After multiple more times of asking where the pizza is and how much longer it would be, they realized they made one pizza and it had been sitting on top of the oven for the last 40 minutes. They had planned to heat up that pizza that has just sat there and then give me one fresh pizza. I had to ask them to make 2 fresh pizzas.

When I finally got my pizzas it was a little after 8pm. From calling in, to walking away with the pizza, took 2 full hours. On the way out I heard the manager tell the cashier to 'deal with Kevin because he didn't want to.' It is sad when the managers hide in the back and let their employees deal with disgruntled customers. I felt bad for the cashier as he was trying to deal with a lot of upset customers all by himself. I was not the only customer last night who waited over an hour for pizza. After finally getting my food home and sat down to eat, I realized they completely burnt my potato wedges.

Absolutely terrible. I felt like I was in the mood for some decent pizza, so i placed my order online and got a confirmation email BEFORE 9:30pm stating that my order was received and they were working on it. At about 9:45-9:50 their head office calls me saying that they're out of one crucial ingredient to my pizza.

I am convinced that either A) they waited until they knew all the other pizza places were closed to notify me so i would be forced into accepting their failure, or B) they are completely incompetent to the point where they don't know what they have in stock, nor could they inform the customer sooner than 15 minutes AFTER accepting my order

I mean, come on. I managed my own pizza hut location at the age of 14, its not that difficult. You're making pizza, not building spaceships.

Now I'm hangry and will have to settle for sub-par pizza. Definitely not be returning to Pizza Nova ever again, let alone this location. Pizza Nova needs to do better training and/or hiring. I wish I could give less...
