Pizzaville — Restaurant in Mississauga

We were hoping to write a good review today but the experience with their so called "Contactless Delivery" was quite appalling!!! First off all the "Seal of Approval" was just stuck to one side of the box and the lid was partially open; ridiculous mockery of the term "Seal of Approval"!!! The partly opened box of pizza and was left on the doormat next to shoes and slippers. How callous and unhygienic!! We lost our appetite at the very look of how the pizza was callously left at our doorstep. They were supposed to put the pizza box in another bag when they deliver. But, they did not seem to care about anything and just chose to ignore all safety and hygiene precautions when they sent the pizza out for delivery. This is happening during a time when local businesses are struggling to stay afloat and we try to help them by ordering food to be delivered!! We will not eat the pizza and we don't want to throw it away, so we asked them to pick it up and they wouldn't. What a shame!!! One thing is certain though, we will never order from this location again and definitely will tell our friends about their indifferent approach to safety and hygiene guidelines. I hope Pizzaville corporate takes the initiative to inspect their locations to makes sure the promises on their website regarding "Contactless Delivery" and "Seal of Approval" are not just empty words but are put into action each and every time a pizza is sent out for delivery. There should be no margin for error in the food business since it has a direct impact on the safety and well being of their customers. My family and I have been coming here for 20 years and never had to deal with such nonsense and lies over a $30 pizza. We get home and our pizza is black at the bottom so we call customer service and they say to bring the pizza back and we will get a refund and a new pizza. We show up and the workers say they are unable to give a refund because their “system is slow” and they “don’t have authorization to refund” but they proceeded to make us our new pizza. We end up calling customer service in front of them and we get told the person who we spoke to at first was wrong and they can only either make a new pizza or give us a refund. After 40 minutes of trying to get our refund the workers are miraculously able to refund us and as we are walking out they tell us we can also take our pizza.
