Sunnyside Grill Mississauga — Restaurant in Mississauga

First, we ordered tea but were not given milk. Quickly grabbed it from the counter, no issues.

I ordered a BLT with mayo with fruit salad (sub for fries). My sister ordered a pancake and fruit. My sister got a full order of pancakes instead of just one. But that is easy to understand - she said a pancake which could have easily been misinterpreted as an order, not one pancake.

I rec'd my sandwich with no mayo, the toast unbuttered, cold and hard. I felt I could get past this and asked again for mayo. It never came. The toast just got colder and harder. I took the plate back up to the counter and was immediately offered for it to be taken off the bill. I requested the sandwich be remade instead and it was - promptly. It was not bad - the bacon was quite tasty. As for the fruit salad, on first glance it looked delicious, with (appeared to be a single) sliced strawberry and blueberries on top. Underneath was all anemic looking melon and two pieces of pineapple. Half of the melon was not ripe and too hard to chew. (note, check out the fruit salad at Daylight Grill down the street... a great fruit salad)

Would I go back? Yes. Definitely would give it another try. Enough good for another chance. One semi-disappointing meal is not enough to make an informed decision. Could have just been a bad day, a new server, or any of a multitude of reasons. I'd recommend buttering the toast and fixing the fruit salad (even include more than one type of melon. For colour if nothing else). Overall, mediocre but not...

Sat 24 the Feb 2024 @1:45 pm. Entered restaurant seated ourselves, no greeting , no communication by staff, they dropped menus on the table and left. Server came over 10 mins after asked ready to order?, no introduction, no name nothing, took both drink and food orders. We ordered traditional and basic breakfast we asked for over medium eggs, we got over hard eggs. There were five other tables that were occupied but it looked and felt as though the staff was just waiting for everyone to leave as they were sitting by the bar, chatting. Our server's bf came in sat at the bar and when server got up to go to the kitchen to get our meal we had a lip lock, so professional! Then the kitchen staff decided to play loud music and sing it could have been romantic except you couldn't understand the words. Our server came only once to check on us during our meal, every time after we would raise our hand to get someone's attention. Yes they were all at the bar with there backs to us! This is only the 2 nd time I've eaten there and it's probably the last. The 1 st time the food service has been horrible and we said it was new so give it awhile...well so many years later and everything is terrible. Won't be returning and will never recommend it to anyone! The cost...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sunnyside Grill in Mississauga with my daughter and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were greeted by the warm and gracious ambiance that truly set the tone for a delightful dining experience.

As we perused the menu, I was pleased to see a wide range of breakfast options available, each one sounding more tantalizing than the last. We ultimately decided on the traditional breakfast and the California breakfast, both of which were expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The portions were ample and incredibly satisfying, the flavors were rich and complex, and the presentation was nothing short of sumptuous.

But the true standout of our dining experience at Sunnyside Grill was the service. The staff were not only professional and attentive, but also incredibly friendly, providing a warm and hospitable touch that made us feel truly at home.

I cannot recommend Sunnyside Grill enough. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty breakfast or a delicious lunch, this distinguished establishment offers the perfect combination of impeccable cuisine, opulent ambiance, and gracious service. I look forward to many more visits to this exquisite...
