I thought this was a great restaurant and definitely recommend it, especially for lunches. I went for lunch with my family and got the Spicy Seafood Linguini with a cappuccino. Both the linguini and the cappuccino both looked and tasted great. I love seafood and pasta so seafood pasta is always a no-brainer for me. It had shrimp, scallops, fish, mushrooms, and spinach. We also shared a chicken club cobb salad and an apricot salad. One thing about the food is that they are usually relatively simple dishes, but they look really nice when plated. I don't 100% recommend the apricot salad (not that it was very bad, just nothing outstanding) but I really enjoyed and recommend the chicken club cob salad. For dessert, we got the baked Alaskan, the palatschinken (a crepe with apricot jam and apricot ginger ice cream), the Tobleron cake, and the lemon raspberry roulade. I'm usually one who goes for chocolate desserts over fruity desserts, but the lemon raspberry roulade was like an explosion of flavour! Also, a note about the baked Alaskan is that, on the day I went, which was July 24th, because of covid, they don't torch it with fire right in front of you, but they torch it before serving it to you. My server, Bronwyn, was really sweet. She noticed that I was wearing a "Gros Morne Newfoundland" shirt and pointed out that she was from Newfoundland. Overall, I was really happy with my experience at Apricot Tree and want to come again soon. This is a great place to go for a date or for a simple lunch. It is relatively pricey, mind you, but a cool idea would even be to just go for salads, coffee-related drinks, and dessert. (pictures of my experience are added).

I ordered a veggie omelet with Dirty chai latte. When the food arrived, the plate looked alright. Upon eating the omelet, I forked into a piece of light pink ham. I called the same female server and asked her if it was ham. She agreed and said that the whole item is supposed to be veggie and it was just 1 piece of ham found inside (basically insinuating I should put the ham on the side and continue eating my omelet). The hesitation to bring the food back to the kitchen was real! My friend asked to get another omelet for me as there was cross-contamination (we don't consume pork products as per our dietary restrictions). 10 minutes later, the server brings me a sloppy, thin omelet that looked no where worth the value for the item. $17 is NOT worth what I received in food quality, care, nor service. You would think they would apologize for this error and low quality control, but no! I still paid for the attitude, meal plus tip. The dirty chai latte was diabetes in a cup. I asked kindly if she can make me a new one, but with less sugar. The same server could not comprehend I am asking for something that is manageable enough to consume. She made it to go and slammed the cup on the side. I felt her annoyance at me. 18% tip and this is the service and product you get here (I honestly do not know why I tipped her!) I can see they have patrons who've been coming for years, and who probably love the place. For me, it was the first and done. Mississauga has tons of amazing eateries, I'll be trying those instead :)

Dear Apricot Cafe This experience happened on Sunday August 25th at 1030am

My husband and I were excited to come to Apricot Tree cafe for Breakfast. I have made a reservation. We have been here before to dine while I was pregnant and both experiences were good, good enough for us to come back a third time.

As we got seated with my 4 month old daughter, the server comes over and directly pours the water jug directly over my daughter which i thought was UNSAFE, what if he accidently spilt water on my wayer or dropped the water jug by accident on her. Secondly he asked us right away what we wanted to drink when he haven't even had a chance to look at the drink menu even though we just sat down... I believe our server's name is Mario, tall, blonde hair, Caucasian with tattoo's. So he comes back, we order drinks: My husband orders a LOOSE LEAF GREEN TEA and I order a iced coffee. He comes back and gives my husband the WRONG DRINK we had to tell him and he said the bagged and loose green tea are THE SAME, obviously NOT, ONE IS LOOSE LEAF AND THE OTHER IS BAGGED and THERE IS A PRICE DIFFERENCE, so we asked him to chabge it and he came back with the right drink.

Then we order the food. My husband requested the AUSTRIAN breakfast and I order the SCHITZNEL BREAKFAST. He repeats the order and says says what can of bread do you want with your APRICOT BREAKFAST i said NO MY HUSBAND ORDERED AUSTRIAN and he says I know..im like ok fine, and he told me SCHITZNEL BREAKFAST IS NOT AVAILABLE EVEN THOUGH ITS SCHITZNEL FEST (how does that make sense?) So I also order the AUSTRIAN breakfast. (HE DIDNT ASK ME HOW I WANTED MY EGGS OR WHAT KIND OF BREAD I WANTED) mind you the restaurant was not busy at all.

So 15 minutes later our food arrived and IT WAS THE WRONG ORDER AGAIN. The "APRICOT BREAKFAST" showed up on our table and I told the server NO WE BOTH ORDERED AUSTRIAN AND I CORRECTED THE SERVER AND TOLD HIM WE WANT AUSTRIAN. It was extra frustrating because we had our 4 month old baby being fussy so waiting even LONGER for our food that was ORDERED INCORRECTLY AGAIN. So finally food comes out NO APOLOGY FOR MISTAKE #2 and here comes the cherry ontop.

When he comes for the bill and hands it over to my husband. He stands right on top of him, WATCHES AND STARES AS MY HUSBAND IS PUTTING IN HIS PIN AND TIP AMOUNT. I have never seen such TERRIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR FROM A SERVER. Maybe it was his first day but I knew I had enough as he was watching my husband enter in payment in the machine without any privacy. That's really rude and ill mannered on the server's end to just watch my husband enter a 10% tip which is more than he deserved for the DISASTROUS SERVICE.

We won't be coming back. I didn't feel safe or welcomed bringing my baby or enjoyed our experience. It was probably the WORST SERVER I have experienced in a...

I frankly don't understand how this cafe gets any reviews higher than a 2 star. Every time we have come here something has been wrong - actually more than just one something. Before arriving today I called to ensure that my husband would have no difficulty navigating stairs or any other obstacles as he uses a walker. The lady who answered the phone did not understand when I asked if there were any stairs and had to find someone else who could answer me. We arrived early to meet friends who had made the reservation and to ensure that my husband could easily be seated. When we gave the name the reservation was made under we were told that our friends were already there. Well, the young lady asked every server if they had seated our friends so we could join them, and no one did so I walked all through the cafe looking for them but could not find them anywhere. My husband decided to use the washroom beforehand which would have been fine if the accessible washroom had a door that was easy to open. There are two accessible washrooms but only one has a door that opens outward which would make entering easy. The other one opens inwards and is extremely heavy to open and enter with any kind of assistive device. We then decided to go to the table anyway and wait. The server tried to seat us at a table for four (4) instead of a table for five. Naturally, there was no table for five (5) set up so she had to prepare one while we stood there waiting for her to finish. I should probably have mentioned earlier that upon arrival the whole atmosphere was quite chaotic. It was extremely noisy and people were running around all over the place. I should also mention that our server was actually a very nice lady and seemed to be doing her best, however, she obviously had far too many tables to take care of. She did her best but service was slow from start to finish. When we did get our orders, I looked at my quiche and frankly thought it was burnt. I brought it to our servers attention and she indicated that it was cooked that way because of the cheese topping. She did ask for feedback on the taste and I told her it was alright to leave it as I felt that sending it back would take another 20-30 minutes and at that point I was actually starving. When I asked my husband how his Club Sandwich was his comment was that it was "Awful". We've been here several times before, always at our friends suggestion, however this is definitely the last...

I would love to have given a better rating, but I also would have loved a better experience. My family of four went for dinner tonight and had the most stressful dinner experience. We had a server that paid ZERO attention to our table, to begin with. It took forever to be able to give our orders. We ordered two of the Anniversary specials and the other two of us ordered off the specials menu and the regular menu. We asked to split a warm salad, as the anniversary special had salads. The two apricot salads arrived…. No warm salads. We waited thinking it was naturally a couple minutes longer. It wasn’t. We couldn’t get our servers attention to save our lives. We continuously had to trouble other servers to get his attention. When he finally came over, we asked about the other two salads, and he mumbled something that we couldn’t understand under his mask. Five minutes later, the salads arrived… this was about twenty minutes after the first two salads were brought out. About five minutes after the warm salads, my main was brought out. I wasn’t even halfway through the salad. Two other mains, but not the fourth. We waited… again. And waited. Server? Nowhere to be found. Oh, but he was there. He just wouldn’t look our way or come to our section. As three of us ate, the fourth finished his salad. And still, no entree. Once again, bugging other servers to get the man’s attention. We asked about the last entree. He mumbled something, left and about fifteen minutes later the pork chop finally came out. But he took the fork with the warm salad plate. You would think asking for a fork would be easy. Nope. Had to ask another server for it. Just when you think this is as bad as it can get, dessert for the anniversary menus comes out. We managed to flag down our server for an extra plate. My mother took a bite of the apricot meringue and pulled a PLASTIC BREAD TAB out of her mouth. Our server just happened to come back to the table when this happened. He quietly took the plate away and brought a new one. No management apology. No mention of how that should NEVER have happened. Nothing. Zero customer service. The food was very tasty, but the service made this the last time I’ll set...
