In the sprawling area of Toronto and suburbs filled with 2.8 million folks, finding a good meal at your hotel is a bonus. I was not disappointed. Service was professional and kind of not cheerful. The food was very good. I see others have also commented positively about the Dixon Burger and the Caesar Salad (I had mine with the chicken). All in all very nice meals. I felt no reason to hunt for another place or need to drive. Nice atmosphere in the bar and restaurant. Good enough to make a very nice review and recommendation. I went back for a third meal and had the fish Tacos which were very good, I only would have liked to spice them up a bit but I didn’t ask about any hot sauce. That were tasty enough. My service people on all three visits were cheerful and helpful. I cannot stress this enough. They made me feel welcomed. A wonderful place to have a meal. A short menu but they do it well. 🙂👍🏼

Decided to have dinner in the Lounge side. The waiter was incredible and personable however the food was less than par. The flat bread Margherita pizza was very over cooked and the sauce was horrid. The Caesar salad was a lot to be desired with large chunks of dried unseasoned bread for croutons. I am unsure what type of dressing was on it but definitely not a Caesar dressing (no garlic) and probably half of a strip of overly crisp bacon thrown on top. It was a good thing I was not fussy about the food due to hunger.

Quite an unwelcoming place. The hostess at the entrance gave us a cold attitude as soon as we told her we were there for coffee. She didn't even bother to lead us to a table. No one came to take orders from us until I actively sought a server's attention. The server did come but then gave us a poker face when I asked for the dessert menu. We had a really bad experience. Unfortunately this is the only restaurant/cafe nearby where we could unwind at the end of the day. Sad!

I was at the hotel over Easter weekend. Late Saturday evening around 8pm a friend and I wanted to order room service. We called 3 times with no answer so I walked down and spoke to a worker sitting on her phone in front of the kitchen to ask. She said they do offer guest service, but I had to call the lobby desk… ok… we did that and the lobby said that no they have nothing to do with the restaurant. They weren’t busy at all - maybe 4 tables with people. Makes me wonder if this person just didn’t want to work.

We ended up ordering food from another place to be delivered. No regrets and tipped other restaurant nicely after the...
