Sosta! Pizzeria — Restaurant in Mississauga

Had two friends pass through Toronto for the night met up with them here. Very nice setting. Clean modern. Although some areas could use a dusting. ( the open beam work above the Bar n kitchen area, get out that extendable swiffer. ) other than that the place is spotless. We were greeted very warmly by the staff. Sat at the bar until our friends arrived. Very friendly staff assisted us. Like the odd chairs at each table. Nice n bright area, not loud with music, a very comfortable setting. Good wines, good beers, food was stellar. Pizzas to drool over, although they didn't last on the plate long enough to drool on. For a starter we had, speidini manzo... wow!! Amazing. Very well presented and cooked to perfection. If you have a bit of a stop in YYZ. I recommend hitting up the link train to Viscount parking lot, making your way down the stairs n hitting up this pizza spot. You won't be disappointed. Thanks for a great evening!! Look forward...

I know this review probably won’t go anywhere because past reviews haven’t been addressed (see pic). As I type this I’m watching one waitress fold and stamp pizza boxes while we wait to get another drink and dessert (going on 20 minutes now) and 3 other waiters/waitresses kind of aimlessly walk around. Luckily our flight isn’t until tomorrow … thank god because we’d miss it. At most, betting on ‘time to serve’ kept us entertained for the night.

As for the food. It was quite good, although the pancetta on my pizza seemed raw, unless pancetta is 100% fat. But the pizza itself was very good and wood fired - extra extra thin crust.

PS. We watched our cake on the counter as the staff have doubled down on the pizza boxes. This is a two man job.

PSS. Waiting for the cheque seems to be a test of endurance I haven’t...

Honestly - the staff were friendly but disorganized. We had a server start us, then another (only to find out she went on break without telling us lol). They served the other person at my tables pizza almost 10 minutes before getting mine… by the time we both had our pizzas theirs were pretty cold. Our pizzas were so floppy it was inedible. I asked to put our pizzas back in the oven for a few minutes to have the bottom more cooked and it took about 10m for a manager to come over to us. She was very friendly. However it felt as though it wasn’t a customer oriented atmosphere. My friend removed her pizza from the order. I ended up eating mine but regretted...
